Hi, this is the very first time I have written a story on Wattpad, so one day I was bored and decided to write a story so here it is.

I'm running as though there is no tomorrow, because I don't think there will be one for me. I dodge the tree trunks and branches that reach out to me, trying to trip me. I hear the wolves’ howls and know they are not far away so I keep running hopefully getting somewhere safe.

My foot gets caught on a large branch and I plummet to the icy cold and damp ground. I try to get up but a sharp pain makes its way through my foot to my knee, it's sprained at the least. The wolves are getting closer, I can hear them. I get closer to a large tree and cover my body with fallen leaves, trying to hide when I see them.

Their noses in the air, trying to catch my scent, their ears twitching trying to hear me. I hold my breath and hide even further into the leaves, closing my eyes. Minutes later I hear them continuing through the forest I start to open my eyes, I jump. In front of me is the biggest wolf of all, just staring at me. His beautiful yellow eyes just watching me. I find myself hobbling closer to the wolf, wanting to touch his fur when my dressing gown gets caught on a twig. The sudden noise startles the wolf causing it to run to catch up to his pack.

I stand in the middle of the forest, confused and scared with what had just happened when I realize I don't know where I am. I take my phone out of my pocket and realize its 5am. I untangle myself from the twigs and struggle to walk away, trying to find a way out of this mysterious place.

When I eventually find my house, I hop up the stairs to the porch and see that the light is on. I quietly open the front door and close it behind me, letting the warmth of the heater surround me.

"Evelyn? Is that you?"

My mother calls, looking exhausted like she hasn't slept all night, relief flooding her face as soon as she sees me.

"Evelyn, where have you been? It's 6 o'clock in the morning....."

I tune out of her rant as I limp over to the kitchen cupboard and grab out some Fruit Loops.

"Sorry mum, I was just sleepwalking again."

I have a habit of sleep walking every once in a while. It's quite annoying and can be embarrassing because once I woke up in a rubbish bin near the local Shopping Centre.

"We need to see someone about that, it’s getting out of hand. Hey, what’s wrong with your ankle?"

I open the fridge to get some milk when I think about what happened this morning. What should I tell my mum? I can't tell her about the wolves, she will freak, she hates them!

"Well, while I was sleepwalking, I walked right into the forest and tripped over a branch."

I reply, my mum tenses up.

"You didn’t see any wolves did you?"

"No mum, it was just little ole me."

She relaxes and puts on a smile.

"Good, okay I'm going to go get ready for work now, we have been getting more complaints about the wolves, apparently they are tipping over rubbish, and ruining laundry on the line. Oh and do something about that ankle of yours"

She says as she walks up the stairs to her room.

 SHOULD I CONTINUE??
