My mouth hanging open I stared into the eyes that held my gaze. My waist tingling from the arm that was still tightly wrapped around it and my cheeks burning from embarrassment. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest and no doubt he could too due to the close proximity of our bodies. My hands clasping the front of the coat he was wearing I found my footing and stood up straight. I could help but feel a sudden loss as his arm that had been holding me returned to his side.

Standing back slightly I had a chance to take a better look at the man who had saved me from falling to the cold wet ground. My heart picking up more speed as I gazed at his face. He wore a beanie over his hair which from what I could tell was a brownish colour but it was too dark to actually tell. His eyes were a deep blue but as a car headlights drove past they changed into a lighter blue. His jaw and cheek bones prominent with slight stubble gracing his well-cut jaw. A button nose that seemed to perfect for anyone's face. His lips that were plump and slightly pink from the cold were set in a smirk as I remember that I was in fact staring at this beautiful man.

"S-sorry" I stuttered shaking my head to regain my thoughts.

He said nothing...just standing there looking at my face. his eyes flickered down to my lips making me very aware that I was tugging at the bottom one with my teeth. Thankfully it was dark as I could feel the blood flood to my cheeks.

"I-I should have looked before walking forward" I said trying to apologise.

"Well I would have been worried if you were trying to walk backwards" He replied with a chuckle.

My stomach dropped at the sound of his voice. It was slightly higher than expected but with a rasp that made my knees go slightly weak. He had an accent that was indeed northern and not from around the London area. I stood there motionless blinking trying to find something to say back but he left me completely speechless.

He tilted his head slightly before speaking "You alright love?"

I nodded regain myself "Yeah...Yeah I'm fine" I mumbled "Thank you for umm for catching me"

A beautiful sound escaped his mouth in the form of a chuckle "No worries wouldn't want a pretty girl falling on the ground now would I" his smirk growing into a full blown smile.

I blushed further knowing I was the colour of a tomato right now. Having a complete stranger call you pretty didn't happen very often but somehow coming from his lips it felt natural. Only when a small rain drop fell onto my forehead did I remember we were standing outside. The wind biting at my skin I pulled my coat further around me to shield myself.

"I Ummm thank you again but I've really got to get going" I said finding my confidence all of a sudden.

He nodded a strand of hair escaping his beanie "Yeah of course" His eyes crinkling at the sides as he smiled "I'm glad I was there to catch you"

I smiled tucking a strand of loose hair behind me ear "Thanks again"

I started to walk past him as the rain began to fall. My arm brushing against his slightly making my arm tingle at the short contact. A jolt of electricity went up my arm as his hand wrapped around my wrist stopping me in my tracks.

"Sorry" he said letting my wrist go as I spun around "It's just...I never got your name?"

I raised my eyebrow, my lip tugging up at the side in a half smile "Why would you need my name?"

He laughed "I don't know just...you know never mind"

He turned away from me as he walked away in to opposite direction to me. The rain falling heavily now but still I stood in place just watching him walk away from me. My heart felling heavy in my chest for some strange reason. I'd only just met this man but I suddenly felt as if I'd known him my whole life.

"JEN!" I shouted making him turn around smirking slightly.

"Sorry?" he joked obviously hinting I hadn't needed to shout "I didn't quite hear that?"

A giggle escaped my mouth "My name...its Jen...Jennifer Addams"

His smirk turned into a face splitting grin. His tongue poked out of his mouth to wet his lips as he nodded "Jen...I'll be sure to remember that"

He tugged his beanie further onto his head as he started to walk away and I could feel my stomach fluttering just from his words. With the rain still pouring down I realised I never got his name.

"HEY" I shouted

His chuckle could be heard as it echoed in the empty streets around us. The sound of the rain mixed with his laugh was oddly beautiful. He turned around sending me a wink before walking away again.

"LOUIS" he shouted "LOUIS TOMLINSON"

I watched him disappear around the corner and shook my head. Never had someone I just met had that kind of effect on me. The rain began to fall harder around me. I tugged my coat tighter around myself and pulled the hood over my head as I began my journey home. The patter of the rain against my hood was all I could hear along with the memory of Louis laugh. I smiled to myself as a picture of a man with deep blue eyes filled my mind.
