Jon and I were still on our date, I guess that's what it was. Everything was going great when a huge clap of thunder made me jump and it started pouring down rain.
"Great" I said sarcastically as I looked out the window.
"You know, I'm pretty full, how about we go to something else? There's something I've always wanted to try." he said as he put cash in the Bill and got up.
"Sure," I said enthusiatically, "where are we headed?" I asked.
"You'll see" he said as he grinned.

"An ice skating rink?!" I asked in shock as we walked into the cold building. It was empty. It was just me, him, and a few employees. The rink looked so big empty with nobody in it. I'm going to fall on my face.
"Sure, I've never done it before, and it looks fun. Shall we?" he said as we went to get skates.
"Alright, I've never done this before either, so don't laugh at me when I fall." I told him. We walked to the door of the rink. He stepped in first and glided so smoothly to the middle of the rink. I stood in the doorway so helpless. He skated towards me and held his hand out for me to step in. I took one step, and immediately fell down. Jon tried not to laugh as he helped me up.
"Ugh." I said as I wiped the ice off of me.
"You're over thinking it. Just put your feet forward, and glide." he instructed. I did as he told, and I actually didn't fall down again!
"I'm doing it!" I squealed. I circled around the rink. I was so good at this. I went faster and faster, and I guess I got too cocky, because I lost balance and fell flat on my butt. This time I laughed, and Jon laughed with me as he came over and helped me up.
"That was good." he said.
"Thanks, Dean." I said mindlessly.
"You're welcome. But my name is Jon." he said as he laughed.
"Whoops. I guess I'm just used to calling wrestlers by their stage name, since I've never known them in real life."
"Don't sweat it. Have I told you how pretty you look today?" he said as he looked into my eyes.
"Aww, thanks, Dean. Jon" I corrected myself as I blushed at his compliment.
"Haha, you're blushing." he teased as he pointed at me.
"Pshhh, I'm not blushing, it's just cold in here." I came up with an excuse.
"Right. But are you cold? Here, have my coat." he said as he took his black coat off.
"You don't have to, Jon." I insisted. But he had already put it on my shoulders. I decided to put my arms in the sleeves, since I was cold.
"Thanks, but this isn't a coat. This is a cocktail dress" I joked referring to how big the coat was on me. "My butt hurts." I said blankly. He laughed.
"Here, hold on to me, and I'll skate us around." I did as he said, and wrapped my arms around him. He was being such a gentleman, it was so sweet. His big, warm body sent a shiver up my spine. I looked up at him. He looked down at me. He smiled.
"Now, just let me do all the work, and relax." he said as he took off skating. I felt like I was in heaven.
"How are you so good at this?" I wondered.
"Natural talent, I guess." he said cockily as I giggled and we continued skating -or he, I should say- until he skated to the middle of the rink and spun me around like a dance. I had no clue how either of us pulled that off. He pulled me close to him. We looked at each other and smiled.
"I know I only met you yesterday, but it feels like I've known you forever." I said. It was true. I felt so relaxed and close to him, and I felt sparks between us.
"Well, maybe you have, you just haven't met me yet." he said as he smiled. Was that as romantic as I heard it?
"Well, if this is a date, would it be inappropriate for me to kiss you?" I asked.
"As long as I get to kiss you back." he said as he smiled. We leaned in and kissed. It was a soft, passionate kiss, but I felt the heat. It started to get a little more heated, but neither of us let go.
BEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP! We heard and immediately let go of the kiss, startled.
"SORRY ABOUT THAT, JUST CHECKING THE BUZZER FOR TONIGHT'S HOCKEY GAME." an employee yelled. Way to ruin the moment.
"How about we get out of here?" Jon suggested.
"Yeah, I should probably check on Bryan, make sure he's not worried about me or anything.
"I'll walk you back to your room." he said as he smiled.
As we walked outside, it was still pouring. Jon pulled the jacket off my shoulders and rose it to my head so I wouldn't get wet.

As we got back to my room, I unlocked the door and peered in. Bryan was still asleep. Jesus. I closed the door.
"Bryan is still asleep, wanna continue the fun?" I suggested.
"Sure! It doesn't sound like this rain is stopping soon, so how about we just go back to my room. It's right down the hall."
"Um, go back to your room?" I asked as I rubbed the back of my neck. "I'm not sure-"
"Just to hang out, not for anything weird, believe me." he assured.
"Then, okay!" I agreed excitedly. We started walking down the hall. This is the perfect day.
