Once upon a time, there was a large kingdom. There are 3 different main parts: Odrana, the huge castle where all the royal family lives. Cespia, a fairly small village nestled comfortably about a quarter mile away from Odrana. And lastly, The Dark Thicket. A terrible, lonely, and cruel place. Very few people have even dared to wander inside. For those who have... Well, that another story to tell.

Now, our story takes places in Cespia, where a little girl named Alexandra lives in a small cottage with her father. Her mother died when alexandra was just two years old, when she caught a terrible disease from an almost spiked looking fox that wandered out of the dark thicket. She has no sibilings , not even close relatives. Yet the whole village treats each other like family.

Today is the Queens Reign Day. Its basically a holiday that the Queen created to celebrate her self and every one is required to participate. ( unless they want to go to the dungeons of course )

"Daddy! Do you like my dress?" Alexandra said while picking off peices of lint from her patched up dress. " I think you look terrific." her father replied. Alexandra beamed. She peeked out of the small cottage window and stared at all the people already lined up outside of their houses waiting for the queens parade. "Daddy when can we go outside? I'm sooooo bored!" Alexandra whined starting to get impaitent. "Just....one more..... second...." her father replied as he tried to get into very tight clothes that consisted of a muddy shirt and torn pants.

Alexandra walked out of the cottage door with her father trailing closely behind. They stood outside of their cottage waiting for the queen to arrive. " Now Alexandra" her father said, " I want you to stand here when the queen comes and don't. move. a single. muscle. Got it?" "okie dokie!" She replied cheerfully.

Just then, a giant black carriage came into view. "wow...." Alexandra breathed as she marveled at the carriage. She had never seen anything so extravagant in her life! "Stand still, and just clap and cheer" her father said nervously. Alexandra clapped and cheered akwardly not knowing what else to do. She then caught sight of the queens dress. It was absolutely georgeous. It was made out of a deep shade of purple silk, flowing down effortlessly. She also noticed that she had a tiara perched on top of her head.

While staring, she heard a noise. It almost sounded a frog. She turned her head tot he road. She saw a frog! " Dad, look a frog!" she said. He of course paid no attention while clapping till his hands turned read and whooping and cheering. She looked back and saw the carriage nearing towards the frog. Alexandra gasped, and ran out into the road and scooped it up. She then ran back.

The whole crowd froze.
