One Direction in every Corner

First Birthday

I woke up at 6. Today was Charlie's first birthday and things had to be perfect.

I walked downstairs and got all his presents from the cupboard and laid them around his breakfast chair in the living room by the coffee table.

I then went to the fridge and checked the cake.

I went to his room and laid out his birthday outfit that LOUIS can dress him in.

I went into our room and had a shower. Brushed and straightened my hair then put on a white loose tank top that had a black heart on it with black short shorts and black vans.

I checked my phone. 8:00. I woke Louis up and told him to have a shower.

He did and got dressed into a black and white striped tee shirt and black skinnies with vans.

"Kirsty?" Louis called from the bathroom

"What's up?" I asked, popping my head round the door.

"You're a hairdresser, right?" He said

"Yeah.. Why?" I asked

"Can you style my hair?" He said

"Sure!" I said and started to work.

It was 9:30 when I finished. Louis had a quiff! He looked really good. Very 'hip'.

"Open your eyes!" I say and he does.

"I look awesome! Thanks Kirst!" He exclaims and gives me a kiss.

I hear Charlie'a grumpy sobs and I look at Louis.

"Your turn to dress him" I say and take out my phone to call the others for the party.

They all agree to come and by 10 they were all here.

The cake was in the coffee table and everything was ready. All we needed now was the birthday boy himself.

Soon we heard the childish laughter and Louis walking down the stairs.

Charlie was walking down by himself with Daddy behind and everyone started to sing Happy Birthday.

Charlie clapped along as we sang and then we started to open presents for him.

Liam and Danielle got him a toy Thomas the Tank Engine. He loved that show.

Harry and Laila got him a shirt that said 'My Dad's a Pop star. What about yours?'

Niall and Celine got him a little green SnapBack and white Supras.

Emma got him a blue teddy.

Louis and me got him a toy car that he could get inside.

I put his new shirt, snap back and surpass on while he played with his other new toys.

My laptop started to ding and I opened it.

It was a Skype call from mum.

I clicked Answer and put the laptop in front of Charlie.

"Hello my little chicken!" She coos at him.

"Gama!" He shouted and we all laughed.

We then put Emma in the picture and we all talked to my mum until she had to go.

We then went into the garden and the kids played while the adults chatted until it got dark and I ordered pizza for everyone.

After the pizza we had a few more drinks and then everyone left.

We put Charlie in bed and Lou and I got changed into some pjs and watched a movie.

The day couldn't have gone better.
