" Come on, Neeks. It won't be that bad. "
A pair of bright green eyes stared at me.

" Call me Neeks one more time and I'll feed you to the skeletons. " I scowled at Percy. Percy threw his hands up in defeat. Rolling my eyes, I stuffed my hands in the pockets of my jacket. My eyes scanned the building that stood before us.

My nose wrinkled up watching the mortals push each other around. I was dreading this day every since Reyna and Hazel told me I was going to this school and had enrolled me in. Just by judging the crowd of people I just knew this wasn't going to be a good year. I let out a sigh that felt like I was holding in forever.

" Don't worry. It isn't as bad as it looks. It'll be fun. " Annabeth said giving me a warm smile as we went up the steps, passing a bunch of students, and through the corridors.

" You say that about everything wise girl, especially about school. " Percy made a
gagging gesture to some of the class rooms. Annabeth glared at Percy and punched his arm hard.

" Ouch! What in Hades was that for?! " Percy yelped out a little too loud. A couple of people looked at us weirdly. I cursed in Italian.

" You idiota! Are you trying to make our world known? " I whispered harshly making sure no one heard what I was saying. Percy rubbed the soreness of the punch out of his arm, his face blushed a little.

" Sorry, it's a habit. " I rolled my eyes while shifting the straps of my backpack. " You think? "

Annabeth huffed. " Guys let's just figure out where were going and get to class. Class is suppose to start soon and I'm not getting late on the first day. "

Percy wrapped his arm around her, grinning. " Dont worry its not gonna be the end of the world. And it's only the first day of school for us since we started late. " Annabeth gave Percy a quick kiss on the cheek. " Whatever seaweed brain just don't get in trouble. You too, Nico "

Shrugging, I scanned my schedule looking at the different classes that I was going to be taking, everything didn't make sense. " Stupid dyslexia. " I muttered not being able to read anything on the slip.

" Do you get any of this? " I asked looking up only to feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. My eyes laid on a girl walking down the hall way with light tan skin, straight black hair, and dark brown eyes. She wore a black jacket, a black shirt with a white lace like skull on the front, with black jeans, combat boots, and a long chain silver skull.

The girl clutched her books tightly trying to avoid the kids in the hall way. While walking down the hall, three girls knocked her books out of her hands causing the books to clatter to the ground. Her black spiral notebook fell open and a bunch of papers of drawings fluttered to the floor.

" Freak " A tall blond girl said picking up one of her drawings of a pine tree with a blanket on a branch. " What is this suppose to be anyways? " Before she could respond the blonde ripped her drawing, letting it flutter to the ground. The blonde crackled in laughter along with her other friends and most of the people in the hall way.

The mystery girl held back tears as she pick up her drawings and her ripped one. She looked up, after picking up her drawings and books, and we locked eyes. A flicker of recognition crossed her eyes but as quickly as it came, it left.

Quickly she grabbed everything and fled to her class. I stood there in shock, wondering if she recognized me. She sure did show a bit of recognition.

But there was something else there to. Was is fear? Or shock? Or maybe was I looking as pale as death? My Even though there was something there, that wasn't the point. I'd just looked into the eyes of Bianca Di Angel, my dead sister.
