I felt his warm soft black pelt against my white pelt, i turned my massive head to see my mate, Blaze. "Hello, love" he smiled while licking my ear. I nuzzled him back and replayed "Hi, Hun". I guess i should introduce myself, i am Mist, an arctic wolf, this is my mate Blaze, a black timber wolf. We were the leaders of the Mac-ken Lake pack. I looked down at my paws and watched my 3 fragile little pups running around, they were the size of my muzzle, i was taller then a human, that's for sure. I know because my pack lives around humans. It seemed like forever before our loving gaze stopped, but Chris came and interrupted. "Uh, master, mistress... we have a problem" I shot up fast and darted, Chris and Blaze followed at my flank, our paws barely touched the ground! "Whats up Chri--" i got cut off by a... GUN SHOT! My eyes went wide and i shot Blaze a look, he had a look of terror in his eyes and we ran faster, accelerating. I skidded to a stop, Blaze at my left, Chris at my right. I was face to face with...
