I was in the middle of procrastinating to wake up when the covers were ripped off of me
"HEY WHAT THE HELL" I yelled while being blinded by the sunlight shining through the window
I looked up to see my mother looking over me with the sheets in her hands
"wake up you lazy ass! you haven't even started packing!" she yelled
"packing for what, vacation?" I asked
"no we're moving!, ugh Alex do you ever listen to a word I say?!" she yelled
"MOVING? WHAT?!" I yelled quickly sprinting out of bed
"we're moving to California I told you yesterday!" She yelled
"She you're lucky it's only a couple of hours away, we hit the road at 2pm" she said walking out
"well...shit" I mumbled
I was walking down the stairs to get some breakfast, when I found my face in contact with the stairs within seconds
"FUCK" I yelled as laughter echoed from the top of the stairs
and of course standing there crying of laughter was my brother, Dylan who had just tripped me down the stairs.
"FUCKING BASTARD" I yelled
He's going to pay for that,
I smirked to myself.I walked over to the kitchen to pour a bowl of cereal and milk while I heard Dylan's footsteps echoing behind me
"Hey mom can you pour me some orange juice?" I asked trying hard not to grin
she nodded handing me the glass
"Dylan you look a little tired today.....let me wake you up a little" and with that I poured the entire glass over his head and all over his clothing
"YOU LITTLE BITCH" he yelled in frustration
I laughed as mother turned to scold at me with a disapproving look
"ALEXANDRA MARIE RILEY YOU HELP YOU CLEAN THIS MESS UP RIGHT NOW!" she yelled
"no thanks" I said trying yet failing to hold back the laughter
"ALEXANDRA I SWEAR TO GOD YOUR NEVER LISTEN TO ME
OH MY GOD I SWEAR ONE OF THESE DAYS---" she started"are you done? like can you not talk, your voice irritates me Katherine"
I said, her face so red that it seemed as if steam would soon be coming out of her earsI laughed trotting up the stairs to finish packing
_
*6 hours later*"okay everybody time to hit the road" mother yelled, dragging remaining luggage into the truck
Lucky for me, I called shot gun before Dylan got the chance to even think about it
I looked out the window,
said my goodbyes to the neighborhood,
and plugged in my headphones.I blasted somewhere in Neverland
by All Time Low, and started falling into a deep sleep.
