I listen as it howls, not unlike the cry of a wounded animal or a lost man. This cry filled so much with sorrow and regret yet always moving as if the cries, which would say it has no life or energy to keep moving, were running, faster then any man or beast can run. These are cries of the day, the night, and the in-between. These are the cries of a broken heart and a shattered soul. And yes these are the cries of the winds..
"Hi, my name is Derek," said the skinny yet tall brown haired boy,"what's yours?"

"You have a beautiful name," he said almost stuttering.
"That was really corny," I replied suppressing a smirk. Even with his head ducked I could tell he blushed and he started to turn away as if to leave, "No, stay. Atleast you talked to me, everyone else chickens out before I can even say hi." And it was then that he finally looked up and I saw the most vibrant green eyes and he was definitely handsome enough to easily win over a girls heart. "Not mine," I think to myself.Authors note
