John had gotten a full nights rest and was pumped for today. Today was the HOH competition. (If you don't know, the HOH competition is where all of the houseguest's try and win to be the HOH's of the house. Only 2 will be crowned as HOH though.) John new he had to win this to guarantee his safety, as well as Becky's. John started to get up, but then he saw Becky walk in the room in her towel from her shower. John just stood there with his jaw to the floor. Becky quickly noticed John was looking.
"Something wrong lover boy?"
"Huh?! Oh no sorry just uhh."
"Haha it's okay, just next time... Hold your jaw off the floor."
"Will do m'am!" John then proceeded to walk out of the room. As soon as he got out of the room he stood there in amazement... And stupidity. "You idiot!" John thought to himself, "Why would you just stand there looking at her?!" John knew he had to quit the nonsense and think strategically!
"Hello houseguest's," said Julie.
"Hi Julie!"
"As you know today is the HOH competition so get to the backyard and let's get started!"
"Wooh!!"
(Now if you don't know, there was already an HOH competition before John got into the house. James the hillbilly Asian has been crowned as the first HOH)
John steps out into the backyard and see's what looks like a cornfield.
"OH MY LANTA!" Says Jason.
John knows this is an endurance competition and must win it. He looks over to Becky and she winks at him mouthing the words, "We can do this." John's heart starts to speed up and knows what's on the line here. He HAS to win, no doubt about it. John will be up against seven other people in the competition.
"Houseguest's in this HOH comp. you must hold on the the pole with all your might while the "aliens" try to pull you away into space."
John is hooked up to his pole as well as everyone else is. And shortly after the pulling begins. John experiences excruciating pain while being pulled up from the pole. He's using all his might to stay on the pole. John doesn't know how much longer he can stay on.
...
Half an hour later, it's between John, Becky, Jason and Jackie. John looks over to Becky and see's her almost tear up in pain. John's heart breaks. He hates seeing Becky this way and he doesn't want her to be in pain. But the more time goes by, the more pain John is in to. And before you know it John is swept up from his pole in fatigue. And as he goes up, he see's Becky there shaking from tiredness. John begins to cry knowing she's in the pain he was just in. John is thrown into a bail of hay and joins the other houseguest's to watch the rest of the competition.
About 15 minutes later Jackie is swept up from her pole and it's down to Jason and Becky. Jason seems all comfortable on his pole... While Becky looks like she is in tremendous pain. Becky looks up at John for just the slightest second and he see's a tear fall off of her face onto the ground.
"No," John thought, "This wasn't supposed to happen! I was supposed to keep us safe." John looks at Becky and gives a look of sorrow. He knows she wants to win so bad but within seconds she is swept off her pole as well.
"Jason, you are the second crowned HOH. Congratulations!" Says Julie, "Now houseguest's, go inside and get cleaned up."
John walked over to Becky who was sitting in the hay. "I'm sorry," she said, "I wanted to keep us safe..."
"No, don't cry." John picked up Becky's face by her chin and stared into her eyes. "It's gonna be okay, we're gonna be okay." Becky gave a sign of relief and hugged John as tight as she could. While the other houseguest's were celebrating Jason's big win, John and Becky were showing there love for each other, for the first time.
About an hour later when everyone was cleaned up and hanging out in the living room, John was showering. After he was done, he walked into his room to see Becky asleep on her bed. She was shivering because her blanket was off the bed. John quickly put shorts on and picked up the blanket. He then put it on Becky and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight Becky. And don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you."
