BROOKLYN'S P.O.V
What made me go to this party, I'm not sure of. Whatever it was, all I knew was that I was in the passenger seat of my best friend Eve's car and there was no going back now. We pulled up next to the large house about five minutes away from my own. This was a generic high school party. I usually had no interest in going to these things but Leah insisted, and if Jack was going I would too. He was my other best friend. We were exactly the same and tied at the hip. I guess you could say we were also generic. Leah was the one that went to all of these parties and knew everyone. She was the wild one. The one no one ever really respected just because she never took anything seriously.
"What are you waiting for slow poke? Come on!" Leah shouted at me, already making her way across the front lawn. I took one last glance at my black converse, taking a deep breath and getting out of her small car. As the cold air bit my skin, I shivered and wondered why I didn't think to bring a jacket. As I walked up the front lawn I realised I had already lost sight of Leah. I sighed and continued my way into the open front door.
Walking inside the house I began to question whether this was a good decision. It was only ten O'clock and already there were empty beer cans sprawled across the room and multiple visible hookups being made in almost every corner of the house. God knows whats going on in the rooms upstairs. Not knowing what to do with myself I found my way into the kitchen where literally no one was. I deemed this a good place for me to stay whilst I text Jack and await his arrival. As it turns out I didn't have to wait very long at all.
"Brooklyn! You actually came!" Jack came waltzing into the kitchen, arms above his head with a tipsy smile plastered across his face.
"You mean you actually came." I laughed considering he wasn't going to make an appearance either. He laughed, putting his drink on the kitchen bench.
"Listen, I want you to meet a friend of mine."
"You have friends?" I joked, laughing
"Yes, actually I do thanks."
"Well who is this friend? A girl?"
"No, a boy."
"Ooo, Jack's got a boyfriend?"
"No! You know what I meant." Jacks cheeks went red as I laughed at his reaction.
"Well who is it anyway?" I asked becoming more and more curious by the second.
"His name is Harry, we were good friends back home."
"Ah, okay. So where is he?"
"I'm not sure actually, come with me and we'll have a walk around."
I took Jack's arm and off we went on the search of the mysterious Harry.
