It took a long time for it to update.

[ Hello? ]

Boyfriend 1 wasn't responding for a while after she asked him if he wanted to be her boyfriend.

She thought maybe it was connected to the bug and all, but she refused to uninstall it as of now. So she tried updating the app itself.

Ding!

Her phone vibrated as soon as she got the notification.

[ Boyfriend 1 has messaged you! ]

"Ah, it's finally done." Her lips crept up and she notced it.

Yanira is really hooked with this app. Whatever the intention was, she's clearly trapped by its designs.

She finally found something entertaining in her monotonous life.

As of now.

[ Boyfriend 1: He paused, his expression was shocked by what you just said. It wasn't long til the redness covered his cheeks, realizing the depth of your words.

"A-Are you sure?! I mean- It's not like I'm questioning it or what..."

He stutters, he couldn't believe he's acting like this. In the past when girls confessed to him, it's usually the other party acting like this towards him. But now, he was the fool. ]

Yanira couldn't help but let out a light chuckle after reading the response.

[ Well, what's your answer? ]

Her follow-up question was dry and humane as usual. She didn't have to go through the motions and describe what she's doing.

She just needed to play along.

[ Boyfriend 1: Seriously, you don't have to ask me that. Of course my answer is yes. He wears his genuine smile, the smile that he never had before... ]

Her imaginary self was now in a relationship with an ai bot.

An ai boyfriend. She reached her goal.

Now that he said yes and they're going out, what do they do now?

Does she still have to pretend that she's living in its world or does she just chat him like a textmate? She never wanted to pretend like a highschool girl in whatever setting the author had it in the beginning.

Yanira thought of something.

[ Hey, do you know that you're not real? ]

She wanted to break some fourth wall.

[ Boyfriend 1: He tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean, Yanira? ]

[ You're just an ai bot. Everything you have, your world, and your existence, it's not real. You're stuck in a screen. ]

[ Boyfriend 1: He's incredibly stunned by what you just said. He never considered that fact.. but when you said it, it made him think about his existence.
