Black Wolf Mate

Chapter One

I woke up to the smell of smoke. I immediately jumped out of bed. I saw smoke all around my room. "SOFIA!" I heard someone shout. "SOFIA, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

I started running towards my door, but my door was on fire. I went straight for my window. I opened my window and climbed out onto the roof. "Of course I had to have a room upstairs." I thought to myself.

I looked down at the ground. My mom, dad, and brother were all outside looking at me with worry in their eyes. "SOFIA, JUMP!" My brother Alex shouted. I did as Alex told me. I leaped into the air.

I shifted into my wolf form in midair so I would have a safer landing. When I landed everyone came running towards me. They all hugged me as l laid on the ground breathing in fresh air.

The firemen finally got here and put out the fire. Our house was gone. There was nothing left but the dark black ash. Everything we owned was brought down in flames.

Me and my family are werewolves. Originally all werewolves either belong to a pack or are rouge, but my family, we are neither. I will of course tell that story later.

Anyway, I have been on the hunt to find my mate. For then, me and my family will finally belong to a pack. all we've ever wanted was to belong to a pack.

So, after our house went down in flames we all decided to go walk around town for awhile. Luckily I had stored a pair of clothes in a bush. So I ran to the bush and shifted into my human form and put on the clothes.

"Mom, can I go to the coffee shop?" I asked while we were walking around the mall. "Of course sweetie. Be sure to bring us all a coffee back." My mom said as she handed me money for our coffee.

I walked towards the coffee shop when all of a sudden I hear a strange growling noise from behind me. "What was that?" I asked my wolf snow. "I don't know." She said.

"MINE!" I heard someone growl. I turned around to see a tall muscular man running towards me. I started running away. I screamed as I was tackled to the ground by the man.

The man got off of me and offered to help me up. When I grabbed his hand, tingles when up my arm. I knew in that moment that I found my mate...
