Chapter Six
It had been three days since dinner at Gemma and Clay's, and Belle had finally come up with a plan of sorts...well she'd worked out what she wanted, now she just had to make sure it was alright with Clay and Gemma. A long day of repossessions had been draining and the club had been out on business all day, leaving the garage sort handed which hadn't helped things.
Belle walked out of the clubhouse, noticing Gemma was still in the office, with a box full of things that she wanted to burn, she sat the box down on the table top and sat on top of the table herself before striking a match and throwing it in the barrel to start a fire, the fire instantly picking up, providing warmth as well in the cooler Californian night.
She picked up the first envelope, a hand written letter, from Carter, she pulled it out of the envelope and re-read it before throwing both the letter and the envelope in the barrel letting it burn. The next was the first stack of photos, Polaroids from a day at the races, she looked through them before burning them one at a time, the flames licking her fingertips as she did
The sound of Harley's approaching made her pause as she watched each man ride in, silently making sure they were alright, before going back to the box and picking out the next thing, one of her numerous drawings of him, this one of him laying in her bed looking relaxed. She quickly threw it in, again watching it burn.
"What are you doing?" Gemma asked making Belle look up from the box, seeing Gem standing with the club surrounding the burning barrel.
"Cleansing." Belle answered as she threw another stack of photos into the barrel, noticing a few raised eyebrows as Half Sack returned with beers for everyone.
"Do chicks always burn shit after breaking up?" Half Sack asked earning a glare from almost everyone except Belle who looked up at him.
"It's either burn shit or put a bullet in each of his knee caps...this is the cleaner option but not necessarily the preferred one." Belle answered seriously as she threw in a large stack of drawings along with a t-shirt, making the guys choke on their beers at her answer.
"Glad to see you're not sad baby." Gemma smiled as Belle threw in the entire box and everything else in it.
"No, I'm good." She answered just as she pulled out her iPhone that was exclusively for Carter and pulled out the SIM card, and throwing it in the fire as well. "I'll be back soon." She said as she got off the table.
"Where are you headed?" Bobby asked as she pulled her sleeves over her hand and dug her keys out of her pocket.
"To see someone." She answered vaguely as she walked away, heading for her car. She got in her car and started it up, pulling out of her park and out of the lot.
"Juice, Sack follow her. Make sure she stays out of trouble." Clay ordered, they both nodded and went to their bikes, getting on and talking off in pursuit.

Belle pulled into the car park of the community college for the open night, knowing she had Juice and Half Sack following her, thanks to Half Sack waving when she pulled off the highway. She got out of her car and walked over to them as they parked and took off her helmets.
"Not very stealth there Half Sack." She smiled as Juice climbed off his bike.
"What are you doing here?" Juice asked as he got off his bike.
"Thought I'd look into attending college, there's a few courses I'm interested in. You could escort me in but I don't think they allow cuts." Belle replied as she looked round the lot.
"I'll come in with you. Sack stay here and stay alert. Call if anything seems off." Juice replied as he stripped off his cut and put it in his saddlebag, along with his gun, but left his knife on. Juice walked forward and linked arms with Belle as they made their way into the college.
