Castiel's P.O.V.

dean and i shared the most amazing dinner ever that night

he cooked it himself

he loved cooking

and he was great at it

although something was off about him

he was...i don't know

weird

he wasn't acting like himself

he was acting almost...

nervous...

but that's weird

why would he be nervous?

we have dates all the time

not as romantic as this though...

maybe he is just nervous of ruining the night or something

it's already perfect

i reach towards him and grab his hand

squeezing it, giving him a reassuring look

"are you alright dean?" i ask him

Dean's P.O.V.

i am SO FRIGGIN nervous

i could feel my hands getting sweaty

and i wasn't really that hungry

i could see that cas could tell i was acting strange

i didn't do anything though

just smiled and forced the food down my throat

i was going to propose to cas today

i don't really know what i'm going to say

just pray that he says yes

i know it's a little soon

but i can't help it

i have our rings

they're beautiful

mine is just plain and golden, just the way i like it

but his is better, cause i knew he would love it

cas's ring shines just like his eyes

i smile at the thought of his eyes

until i remember i can look at them

but before i could look, i feel his hand on mine

squeezing it

"are you alright dean?" he asks me

i look up into his eyes and smile

a real smile

not one just to hide my nervousness

he smiles back and i see the shine in his eyes

i look down seeing that he is done with his food

and i sure as hell am not going to eat another bite

or i'll throw it up, cause i'm so nervous
