Chapter 7: Jealousy

Normal POV.

"I assume that the two of you know each other?" Sai spoke up.

"Hn," 'replied' the Uchiha, still glaring at the man next to Sakura.

"I guess you can say that.." Sakura looked around the table, his friends were here too.

"Are you Itachi's younger brother?" asked Sasori, looking at the Uchiha carefully.

"Yes, I am. Do you mind if I talk to you in private, Sakura?" Sasuke's dark eyes pierced Sakura's emerald ones, daring her to say no.

"I guess-" Sakura didn't even get to reply as she was taken by the arm and led toward the back of the club by the Uchiha.

Sakura's POV.

What the hell was Sasuke's problem? Why is he even here? He's not supposed to be here. 

"Who is he, Sakura?" Sasuke asked, once we were a fair distance away from the table.

"Who is who?" I questioned, confused. What is he talking about?

"Who is the red head you had your arm around?"

"What are you tal- Oh! You mean Gaara?" Why was he so angry about it?

"Yes, him-"

Then all of the sudden it was like a light bulb just lit up in my head-"Wait, are you jealous, Sasuke?" he can't be jealous of him, can he? He's acting like one of those jealous boyfriends you would watch on television.

"I am not jealous." He stated.

"Then why are you so angry about me being so close to Gaara?"

"I-I just.. I'm sorry."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "What are you sorry for?"

He sighed, "This is probably really late, but I'm sorry I was such a jerk earlier today, I deserved that.. slap. Honestly I needed a reality check.. So listen, can we start out fresh? Friends?" Sasuke's face was serious as he said this.

I was shocked, he had admitted he was jerk, Sasuke Uchiha admitted he deserved a hand to the face...

"I.. I don't know... But I guess it won't hurt to start over.."

Sasuke's POV.

I didn't think she'd accept my request to starting over, I actually expected another hand to the face.

For some reason I was really happy when she said that she would give me a chance but I wasn't going to tell her that.

"We should probably get back-" She started saying, but I cut her off.

"Sit beside me, I still don't like the red head." I walked away not even waiting for a reply.

Sure, I wanted to start over, I barely knew her and what relation she had to that Gaara guy but for some reason it made my blood boil seeing her that close to him...

I don't know what's gotten in to me.. I have never apologized to a person outside of my family, better yet, expressed my feelings to anyone.

What is she doing to me?
