It was monday morning and honestly I were really excited to start this day. Dinah, Lauren and I were in the classroom waiting for the teacher to arrive. I couldn't hide my anxiety. Today would be the beginning of the bet we made last week where Lauren would have to be a good student for a week. If she can so I would have to be the opposite next week.

As I expected, Lauren tried to escape and cancel the whole thing, but I forced her, gently, to continue. It worked well because; she woke up on time, got the right material to class this time and even dressed less threatening.

The combat boots, ripped skinny jeans, leather jacket and all that had black thing was out. She was wearing a floral crop top with a ripped white jeans and her black all-star, well this hasn't changed. Honestly I've never seen Lauren wear anything that had stamped flowers before. It was surprising to see her like that though it was not necessary to change her style to look like a good student. I didn't complain though because she was lovely.

We talked while we had time. Dinah has not lost an opportunity to tease Lauren. She was having more fun with it than I do and Lauren has not lost the way to be incredibly convinced.

"You are so cute." Dinah teased again.

"I know." Lauren winked at her with a smile on her lips. "You thought I couldn't get any better, right?"

"Okay, that's enough. You're here to study and not join the mean girls." Dinah rolled her eyes.

"She's right. Behave yourself." I told her with a serious look.

"Don't worry, mom. I'll make you proud." Lauren told me and I laughed, shaking my head.

"You're ridiculous."

"Hey, watch your mouth." Lauren slapped me lightly on my arm.

"This is not a dirty word."

"You can't talk like that to people, it's disrespectful."

I exchanged glances with Dinah and we laughed out loud. I have to control myself not to continue laughing during every class. She was really taking this seriously, but I knew very well why. She wanted to win this so I lose and she can really have fun breaking the rules next week what does she think I wouldn't do. Well, that and I don't think she wants to study for the rest of the year if she loses.

We couldn't continue talking because the class had begun and Lauren just didn't say a word then. I think I spent more time watching her than actually studying. And she was even paying attention in class and acting like a nerd. I was caught laughing by myself a few times, but it was inevitable.

I was just waiting for her to surrender. And that's what happened in the last period when Lauren seemed to be exhausted. I realized she was having trouble staying focused and sighed dramatically. She picked up the phone but I scolded her, was when I saw that she was really tired of all this. I laughed with victory, even though she had the phone back in her pocket and turning her attention to class. She wouldn't last long.

"Oh my God, I hate school."

Lauren jumped on the couch in my living room as if she was in her own home. She threw her backpack on the floor, lying face down and sighed dramatically. I believed she'd be feeling that way. We all were. Today was the worst monday, it was as if destiny knew that Lauren was going to have to do this today and then made the day worse than it already was.

Sometimes there were quiet monday but today sucked. The teachers decided to play rough and gave us several exercises to do and finish in the same class. We kind of were forced to do because it would affect our final note and we were going to go down if we didn't do it.
