The knight

The strapping young soldier was afraid of the enemy horde that was approaching.  He heard their footsteps getting louder, as they skittered across the battlefield in his direction.  He knew defeating them was a horrible proposition but he was trapped.  He lifted up his sword elegantly, and as the horde came nearer he grabbed his sword and lifted it up slashing away and defeating the goons. After the fight the soldier limped back to the castle and bragged about what he had just succeeded doing.  The king became jealous of this tale and decided he to should defeat a horde, just like the solider.  The king ran out into the battle field and began to fight. After a few hours of fighting the sword dropped away from his hand. The goons chased after him,and he ran away in panic and never came back. The horde came through the town searching for the king screaming

“Come out If you are even the king then you would finish this fight!” Bravely, the knight came out and grabbed on to his sword he clutched it tightly in his shaking hands and the battle between him and the goons began again. The king was found hiding behind a dumpster, holding on to a rat whispering to himself.

“You stupid cowardly king you started this mess, so you clean it up!” Screamed the knight with fury. The king sat up and headed back to the goons.

“We knew you would have to come out sooner or later.” The goons cackled. The king lifted his sword, only to drop it in infuriating pain.

“You goon’s are only stupid yourself, my knight is the best in the whole kingdom.” cooed the king. The goon’s had a confused look on their face only to realize that their own men were dieing by the second.

“Ha look at you, your all just cowards and crooks.” The king pleasingly said as he walked away.

“King this is not over! I had to defeat these goon’s all by myself, when you talked silly chat to them!” The knight said with infuriating anger.

“Haha my boy! You see what I did there I said you were the best in the kingdom, and you know that is true.” The king trickily said.

“Well I guess it is true,” The knight began.

“I have defeated over 100 goon’s, I am also very strong, alllllll the ladies love me, and you are the one who called the best!.” The knight went on and on.

“Yes my son all in good time you will be famous.” The king cackled. The knight was very honored and appreciated what the king was doing for him. Later that night the kings wife ran in and yelled.

“The knight is at the door he demands to see you right NOW!” Yelled the queen.

“Well just behead him I am to tired to get up currently.” The tired king said.
