Proposal

*Your POV*

You've been dating for five years now.  You've had a couple of fights, but they never lasted that long.  Your trip to Europe three years ago was the best times you had spent with Yeon Seok while dating him.  It's been five years though, and you were waiting for the next step.  You had never really given marriage a thought, but you were sure he was the one.  For the time you've been together, things couldn't have been better.  You were both as in love with each other as when you started dating.  You really wanted to make him yours, not because you were possessive or worried, you just wanted to feel like he was really yours.  

Work is what is ruining everything.  You've been working at a travel company for two years now, and because you were a fresh graduate, they were taking advantage of you.  In the past four months, you haven't had any time to yourself.  By the time you get home, you don't have any energy, you only have enough gas left to make it to the bed and crash.  You could see that Yeon Seok was worried about you, but also saddened that you guys couldn't spend more time with each other.  There were two months left in your contract, you were definitely going to take a break and enjoy some free time.

*** 2 Months Later ***      

*Yeon Seok POV*

( ) is finally done working on her contract.  I've missed her for the past six months, she looks so tired and overworked.  She took two months off and is planning on enjoying herself.  I've been talking to Ji Ahn because she seems to be the only way of knowing what's going on with ( ).  Even though ( ) been busy, she always manages to tell Ji Ahn everything.  "When are you going to propose?" Ji Ahn asked me.

"Wh...Wh...What?"

"She's ready, she wants to get married," Ji Ahn continued, "You guys have been together for five years, just do it."

"She's been so busy lately, how will I even find the time to talk to her?"

"Her last day is next Friday, we'll meet at your place, and you can do it there.  I'll distract ( ) and make sure she isn't in the house."

"Okay."  

I was so relieved after having that conversation with Ji Ahn.  I had thought of taking it to the next step, but I wasn't sure if ( ) was ready.  I'm glad she was.  The last five years have been the best, I couldn't have asked for a better wife.  She's always smiling, laughs all the time, always full of humour, and is the best company I could ask for.  I know guys tend to fall for their cooking, or whatever, but I don't want her to do those things.  I do all the cleaning, I cook and do the chores.  My schedule isn't nearly as hectic, she doesn't have time, so I take care of everything.  I've been independent for a while now, so I do what I'm used to.  The only thing I don't do, is drive when we're together.  She loves cars and driving, I wouldn't take that away from her, especially when she's stressed and needs to relax.  You can tell that driving makes her happy, I'll let her drive then.  

* One Week Later *

It's Wednesday today, Friday is the big day.  I didn't have an idea at first, but I thought of something that's going to thrill her.  I rented an Audi R8 and will be picking her up from the restaurant with that.  She won't expect me to arrive in an R8 wearing a suit.  No flowers, something more casual like renting a high end super car.  She'll  be thrilled to get to drive that car home.  

*Friday*

"( ) I'm going to pass by the studio before heading to the restaurant.  Ji Hyun needs help with something.  Go before me okay."  

"Ok, be careful and I'll see you soon," she replied.

In the car on the way to the studio, I called Ji Hyun.  I was so nervous I couldn't make a single logical sentence.  This was one of the most nerve-wracking things ever.  I didn't even know if I was ready for this.  Thoughts were racing through my head.  Ji Hyun had offered to drive me to the dealership because he knew I would be a nervous wreck.  

"You okay dude?  You look like you're lost.  Calm down," he teased me.

"I'm really nervous, you wouldn't know the feeling because you've never dated anyone," I teased in response.

The drive to the dealership was too short.  I was trying to remember what to say, and  trying to remain calm, but it was to no avail.  The Yeon Seok she would see tonight was a nervous wreck.  When we pulled into the entrance of the dealership Ji Hyun took the lead and got the car for me.  It was exactly what she would love, a metallic red Audi R8.  Her dream car.  I had already gotten changed at the studio.  There was still two hours before our reservation, I needed to got pick up her necklace.  I found the perfect necklace while walking to work.  She was going to love it!

* Your POV *         

 When are the others getting here, I've been waiting for the last fifteen minutes.  I pull out my phone and call Ji Ahn.  

"Yeoboseyo?" she answers, 

"Where are you?"  I ask, 

"I'm at the light, Ji Hyun and I will be there in one minute, walk to the door."

"Ok."

I head to the door and stare in awe as a beautiful R8 pulls up to the restaurant.  I think to myself how lucky that person is for having such a beautiful car.  ( ), Yeon Seok says as he steps out of the R8.  

"Oppa?" I question confused.

Yeon Seok is standing in front of me wearing a beautiful suit with the keys to a beautiful car.  It felt like a moment from a k-drama.  My eyes began tearing up.  

"Are you okay?" 

"I'm fine oppa, it's just that I can't believe you stepped out of that beautiful car..."

"Let's go inside, Ji Ahn and Ji Hyun should be there."
