The small figure flying in the sky made a quick decent towards the earth, breaking wind. It opened its wings and flapped until its sharp, pointy claws touched the soil below, my heart stopped for a moment as the golden creature sat there and breathed deeply. "Is this real, am i dreaming?" I thought as i suddenly collapsed.
Slowly awakening i saw Toby near the giant bird. "Toby quick! Get away from that creature, you dont know what it can do!" I screamed at Toby, my voice shaking. Toby ignored me, "no he's friendly." Toby started. "Just come over and say hello, one little pat wont harm you."
After a while Toby convinced me to go over and say hello. "Umm... Hello... Sorry to disturb your home" Once i finally got close enough Toby told me to reach out my hand and stroke the creature, i reached out my shaking hand and stroked its wide nose. "Your not so bad, in fact your quite friendly." I said slightly more confidently.
Just as i said that, i saw Toby climbing onto the majestic creatures back. "Be careful Toby, i dont want you getting hurt." I said to Toby, still stroking the creatures face. "Dont worry ill be f....... Woah.... Help!!" I freaked out quickly thinking how to rescue him, before i could do anything the mighty beasts tail swung around and saved Toby from falling, then gently released him onto the ground. From what I've seen I now know this creature is here to protect us, i dont know why, but i know it will, i have full trust in this animal, i hope he doesn't let me down.....
