I walk over and sit down on the wooden patio chair next to my sister. “Do you reckon Noah is enjoying his party?” my sister asks me in a worried voice. My sister, Melissa always worries whether or not her children are happy and today she wants Noah’s birthday to be extra special. It may only be in the back garden with all the family and Noah’s school friends but Melissa had gone all out complete with a clown and bouncy castle.

“Mummy, mummy can Freya come on the bouncy castle?” my daughter asks looking up at me with big blue eyes that melt your heart. “Freya feels left out,” Rosie informs me with a nod. I look over and see my 16-month-old daughter sat gurgling in the pram and I realise she doesn’t have any idea that she is missing out, but I know Rosie wants to play with her little sister.

“Ok but you both have to stay by the edge so mummy can help,” I bargain as I pick Freya up. I sit on the edge of the bouncy castle Rosie trying to encourage her sister to jump whilst Freya struggles to crawl as she is being bounced up and down.

“Hey need any help there?” my sister asks sitting down next to me.

“I’m fine,” I reply holding on to Rosie’s hand.

“Jen your six months pregnant-“

“Yeah I’m pregnant not an invalid, I’ll be fine,” I say giving Melissa a smile.

“Let me guess Michael wants a little boy.”

“Well he can hope but he gets what he’s given anyway I think three is enough.”

“So you’re stuck with what you’ve got then,” Melissa shouts over to my husband who is stood with the guys round the BBQ.

“I’m not stuck with them I lucky to have them,” Michael smiles coming and put an arm round me.

“Look at us daddy,” Rosie shouts as she tries to do her biggest jump.

“Yeah your getting so high baby." It's days like this when I feel truly blessed, I have my husband two daughters and a family that love and care for me. What more could I ever want?
