>Your POV<

"(Y/N), it's been 3 days." Your best friend, Sting, said from outside your apartment door. "Can't you at least come by once? Everyone at the guild is worried about you."

It was true. You had been inside your apartment for the past 3 days, all because your idiot boyfriend, a certain Archive Mage by the name of Hibiki Lates, broke up with you. It wasn't just the fact that he had broken up with you, either. You two were engaged. So, naturally, you were absolutely devastated and heartbroken.

"No." You mumbled. "I'm not coming. Go away."

"Please? I'll buy you a cake." He coaxed, knowing cake was your favourite food.

"No! I'm not coming out!"

"You can't survive your entire life in that apartment. You'll starve to death." He sighed.

"Yeah, I can! I use Summoning magic!"

"Yeah, but you'll go insane without human company." Lector pleaded, and you could just hear the desperation in his voice.

"I have a cell phone." You huffed.

"I really don't think that's sufficient, (Y/N)-chan." Lector muttered.

"You'll die of boredom."

"I've got books!"

"What if you run out?"

"I'll draw, or watch tv."

"What if you hurt yourself?"

"I've got a first aid kit."

"You need to go on jobs to pay your rent, y'know."

"I've got plenty of rainy day money saved up." You huffed indignantly.

"What about the guild? Don't you think we'll miss you?" Sting asks in a desperate tone.

"Whatever. It's not like they will." You muttered bitterly.

"Fine. C'mon, Lector, let's j-just go." He said, sounding rather forlorn, sniffling lightly.

'Crap,' You thought to yourself, 'I made him cry...'

You put your eye to peep hole, seeing Sting with a sad, almost depressed look on his tan face, tears in his eyes.

"Oh my god, Sting, I'm so sorry-" You stopped when he turned around with a smug smirk playing across his features. "You tricked me?!"

"Yep. Now, you're coming back to the guild hall, whether you like it or not." He smirked, lifting you up, bridal style.

"LET GO OF ME, YOU LITTLE-"

"Ah, ah, ahhh.~ That's no way to talk to your Guild Master, now is it, (Y/N)-chan?" He chuckled.

"Don't -chan me! Besides, I thought you hated being referred or addressed to by that title." You retorted, finally giving up on fighting him.

"I do, but this is a special case."

"Oh, is that so?" You spat sarcastically.

"Y'know, Sting-kun," Lector said, "that wasn't very nice of you."

"Yeah! Listen to your cat!"

"Hey, it got her out, didn't it?" He laughed.

"Well, I suppose so..." The exceed muttered.

"Whose side are you on?!" You scowled.

"Well, we're here." Sting exclaims as you arrived at the guild hall, placing you back on your feet carefully.

"Why did you bring me here, exactly? Besides the fact that I've been in my apartment for three days." You ask monotonously.

"You need lunch." He shrugged, pushing the door open.

"Hey, guys!" Sting called to Rogue, Frosch, Yukino, Minerva, Rufus, and Orga who were all siting at a table, having lunch.

"Oh, hey Sting." Rogue greeted his friend, not looking up from his book. "Finally given up on getting (Y/N) out of her room?"

"Nope." He responds, siting down next to his raven haired partner.

"Hey, Rogue." You say, still scowling slightly.

"Oh, hey (Y/N). Sorry, I didn't see you."

"It's fine." You dismiss.

"So, how did he manage to get you to come back?" Minerva asked, smirking.

"He tricked me." You growl.

"Elaborate?"

"He started fake crying." You scowled at the blonde, who was smirking at you.

"Huh, that's a new one." Orga mutters, amused.

"Yeah. Seriously, since when could you do that?" Yukino asked.

"I'm a man of many talents." He smirked, leaning back in his chair.

"I think that requires you to actually be a man, Sting." Rogue chuckled.

"Sarcasm not needed, Rogue." Sting glares at his friend.

"Actually, I think sarcasm is very needed in this situation." Rufus chortled.

"Gee, thanks, Rufus." The Guild Master rolled his eyes. The minstrel just smirked at him.

"So, (Y/N)," Sting started, "what kind of cake do you want?" He asked, getting up.

"Huh?" You questioned, giving him a weird look.

"I promised you a cake, didn't I?" He smiled, leaning over your shoulder. "Just, as long as you don't tell anyone about my little trick." He winked.

"You're incredibly manipulative." You glared.

"Do you want the cake, or not?"

"Chocolate, please!~"
