I sat at my small desk in my room, studying for a Spanish test tomorrow. I wasn't getting far, my mind kept drifting off to A'Maya. The way she smilied brought chills to my Spine. I sighed in frustration, I know she dating Bryan but dang am catching feelings. Ever since we went out to lunch and connected, I've been thinking about her since but I know I shouldnt be.
I leaned back in my chair an picked up my phone, looking at my lockscreen of Macy and I. We were both sitting in the car making silly faces. I smilied while I unlocked my phone.
I went to contacts and called Macy my girlfriend from back home. Yes I mean girlfriend as in we are dating. We've been dating for a couple months. I was hesitated about a long distance relationship but she convinced me to trust her. I'm not saying that I didnt trust her in the first place but this, this was different.

"Hello?"
"Hey baby"
"Omg I missed you so much. How's Atlanta treating you?" I laughed at her excitement.
"I miss you too. Its great down here, you should come visit me some time".
"I can see what I can do. I know you got friends al-" She got cut off from a noise that sounded like a door closing . I suddenly hear a man's voice in the background. I pulled the phone from my ear and looked at it. Jeremiah don't jump in conclusions. It could be her dad or her brother or sumn. Dont even trip.
The man voice stopped talking and she began talking again.
"Listen I have to go" Macy said almost in a whisper voice.
"Who was that?"
"It's not important right now. Love you".
And with that she hung up. I sighed in frustration. I swear if she's cheating on me imma flip. I mean who wouldn't be upset to know that their significant other is with someone. Cold right.
I put my flash cards and my Spanish notebook away and went to the bathroom in the hallway. I did my business, washed my hands and went back to my room.
I stripped down into my underwear and lyed down in the bed. Staring at the ceiling, I began thinking of all the possibilities on why Macy acted so strange when she heard that voice. I hope she's safe.

"Yes I'm having a wonderful time. I wish I had you here with me so I have someone to talk to"
My mother was currently telling me about her trip so far over the phone. I miss her but this always happens.
"Yea, well I have school tomorrow so I'm finna go to bed"
