Prolouge

I wake up in a mansion, it seems... I look around and see so many doors I can't even count them all... There could be millions of them.... I look to the floor to see if there are any beneath my.... What the? Where did my legs go? I could only see the blue carpet beneath my... ghost body? I heard when you died you could see yourself and other ghosts, except when you look in the mirror... but I couldn't see myself...

I started to float around the rooms, wondering which one to choose. I finally chose a door, but I felt frightened by what was behind it for some reason... I closed my eyes, and put my.... whatever on the doorknob. I counted... 1, I put my hand on the knob... 2, I slowly turned it... 3, I open it all the way up with my eyes shut... I slowly opened my eyes to see a blue eevee with purple fringe of fur over half of it's face facing me, just staring at me... I tilt my head, then it tilts it's head at the same time... I noticed that it had a ring on... I'm... married? I then started regaining my memories... all of them... at once. I collapsed onto the floor with my head aching so badly I thought I was gonna have a migraine. Suddenly, I felt a cold hard tap on my shoulder, and the pain stopped... I turned to see who helped to thank them, but all that I could see was the silence that was in the room...

I heard the door slam behind me, with a woman screaming in pain behind it... I start to walk away slowly, looking around at all the doors... I see something on one of the doors, but I can't see it clearly, I go up to it and look closer... a big red "X" on it, dripping, wet, it makes a loud slam, along with almost all the doors, except for one, this door was different from the others, it was covered in crystals that looked like sapphires...

I went up to it and it opened by itself, I see... nothing. Just a portal. I put my hand in and a weird sound started, I put my hand in and the portal acted as if it latched onto my arm and was pulling me into it! I start panicking, frantically trying to get my arm free from the pull, as my legs were swallowed by the portal (getting closer to my head, if you were wondering), I gave up trying to get out of the portal, I let it swallow me as a blinding light hit my face. I tried to open my eyes, but they felt like they were glued shut, reacting to the light... as I opened my eyes, I see a peaceful world around me, as if nothing could go wrong... wait a minute! I see two colorful... ponies!? No wonder why it was so peaceful! This world was inhabited by ponies! I had realized that there were multiple dragons and griffons and hybrids. There was also a giant crystal castle, which stuck out very easily, because the rest of the town was just cottages. Even though I could see all of this, my vision was very blurry, and I had no clue why...
