chapter 5: A Year Later

John point of view: Nikki and i kind of just took off to the right path. We've been together for almost a year. Im planning on asking her if she wants to move in with me. I know you're probably thinking 'moving in already?' But truth is we have been getting along so well and we have been to like 15 dates in less then a month. So i think its the right thing to do. Also we work together so we can save money and go in the same car to work. But there is one problem. I dont think nikki would say yes.
Nikki: "John i need your help with some boxes of merchandise."
John:" Sure but i need to talk to you real quick."
Nikki:" Oh okay. Whats up?"
John:" Um... i just wanted to know if you want to move in?"
Nikki:"Um... gosh i dont know what to say..."
John:"You dont have to if your not ready."
Nikki:"No. Im ready. So yeah i would love to move in. When though?"
John:"If you want you can start moving in after work."
Nikki:"But i kind of have a lot to pack. Like all my shoes alone can take 6 1/2 boxes."
John:"Thats fine. But just to let you know your getting your own closet."
I laugh. And john continues to help me with the box and head to the gym to work out.
