They said, that a human can experience awakening for being a vampire. In my case, I guess I was experiencing it. I'm Stephanie Collins. A normal school girl, loves playing under the sun, loves neon colors that seems to glow in my eyes, i really love eating and I love my eyeglasses... Before. Yes, I love those things before but now, i didn't seem to like it. I hate the sun now, when my friend asks me to come with them to go to beach, my mood chages. I love dark colors now specially the Black, i don't feel the need to eat, just kind of thirsty, and my eyesight is not a blur anymore.

At first, i thought vampires is just a Twilight material. But no, they're true... and I'm one of them. But i'm the ones that experienced awakening, not the ones that got bitten or something.

"Hey, Steph?" I heard Riley said. She was staring at me, sipping her milkshake here in the cafeteria of our school. And waiting for an answer.

Riley Carlon is my bestfriend. She's always there to help me, she's the one who does my makeup, and picks what is the perfect place to hang out. But when it comes to clothes and advice giving, I'm the expert among our gang.

"Oh, sorry Riley. I was just thinking out loud here." Well, I'am not really 'thinking out loud'

"Thinking out loud? What's thinkin- Oohh that song, i really really love that song." she squeled.

"I see, well you know what? That is yours and Jeremy's theme song. Specially the part that comes with the... 'I will be loving you 'till we're seventy' " I sang.

"Oh, about that, I Jeremy are not going so good and-" I was just start to take the topic seriously until someone cut her off. Cut us both off.

"Yo! Yo! Yo! Hey babes! Hey pretty Riley, and Hey my Bae." Gabriel wink at me. And giving me that cute boy-ish smiles.

Gabriel Adams is my other bestfriend. Among my group of bestfriend, he's my favorite. Well, maybe because he's my only bestfriend that didn't have a misunderstanding yet.

"Seriously, Gabriel. Did you just called me Bae?" i asked. As he took a sit between me and Riley.

"Well, Hi to you too Steph. I just can't find the right words to rhyme with the 'hey' so Bae is the first came into my mind. Oh and did you heard that there's a new guy?"

"What? a transferre you mean? Well, i wish his good. But, whatever Gabriel my bae." I wink at him, and he seems like shocked when I said it. Well, I can't blame him besides I felt the same thing when he called me that.

Wait, what? How did i feel that? And there's a new guy? I wonder what class he's on..

"So what are we going to do with our project?" Rylie asked.

"Maybe you two come at mine. But call the others, okay?"

"Alright." They both replied in sync.

And as soon we stand up from the seat and get our things, the bell rings signaling that the lunch break is over. We parted our ways and I head over to my locker. I open my locker and as soon as i got my Math book and notebook, i walk to my classroom. As soon as i'm quite near I smell a scent. It's not a normal scent. I already know it eventhough I'm not completely changed but I guess I was 56% stage of being a vampire.

When I got inside the classroom, I try to find who owns that scent. I just let my eyes travel around the room. But when my eyes landed to someone i felt something weird. Until...

"Miss Collins , can you please take your seat now. We will be starting soon." Miss Armel said kindly.

"Oh, sorry Miss Armel. I'll take my seat no-" O My Gosh! He's seating next to mine?! Why didn't I noticed that a while ago?!
