The Creation of Pegasi... And the Extinction of Unicorns
Once apon a time, there where a lot of unicorns. They pranced and played and hunted like any other animal, but their fatal flaw was that they where horrible at keeping time. One day, they received a note from a man named Noah that said if they wanted to survive a horrible flood, they should meet him at his arc at 5:30 that day. There was one unicorn named Bartholomew, however, who did not know they had received a note because he was busy exploring a mountain cave he had found. Suddenly, there was a great shaking of the earth and the opening of the cave fell in and trapped Bartholomew inside. The great flood came and wiped out all of the unicorn civilization. The only one who survived was Bartholomew because the stones that encased him in the cave where pushed together so tightly that no water could get in. For forty days and forty nights Bartholomew was trapped in the cave until finally that water receded, washing away the stones.
Bartholomew stepped out of the cave and saw a rainbow. He followed it to the end where he lied down and died, but not before procreating with a female eagle and creating a pegasi.
