"I'm sonic, who are you....?" Sonic said to the shadowy figure. The shadowy figure stepped out and revealed himself. He was a hedgehog, like sonic just a little different.
He was a black hedgehog just slightly taller then sonic, he had red stripes on his quills and a red stripe on his head. He had skinny red stripes on his arms and legs had rings on his hands and ankles. He had chest fur as well.
He held out his hand and introduced himself. "I'm Shadow. Shadow the hedgehog!" He said with a cheerful smile. I grabbed his hand and pulled me up. "Your name is sonic? that's a pretty cool name!" Shadow said. "that's my nickname. It's actually.. maurice.." sonic admitted.
"Can I call you sonic? I really like it!" Shadow said happy. "Um sure.." sonic said. "Whoa!" Shadow said just noticing all the bumps and bruises on sonic. Sonic looked confused at why shadow had said that. "Why do you have so many bumps and bruises??" Shadow said with a concerned look on his face.
"let me tell you in private.." sonic said to shadow. He wanted to tell him in lunch. Not only that but he had a place to talk to shadow. He missed his mother and his siblings. He knew they would return.. Someday...
-Lunchtime-
Sonic stood in the line for lunch. He went to MMS. Mobius middle school. Today was sonics favorite! Chillidogs! It was his turn to get lunch. "2 chillidogs, noodles and some coleslaw please!" He politely asked. The lunch lady was rally nice to sonic. She was a pink rabbit with amber greenish eyes. Ms. Cameran was her name. "Here you go, sonic!" She said. "Thanks Ms. Cameran!" Sonic said walking out with his lunch and sat down at an empty lunch table. As he often did.
Just then a black and red hedgehog walked up to sonics table. "Shadow!" Sonic said. "Hi sonic, mind if I sit with you?" Shadow asked. "Sure, but it's a change.. nobody ever wants to sit with me.." sonic said putting his head on the table and let a tear run down his cheek. Shadow wiped it away and said "it's alright.. I will be your friend!" Then sonic pulled shadow into the janitors closet.
"Oww sonic! What was that about?!?!" Shadow said rubbing the hand because it got hit. "I'm ready to tell yu about me.. even.. my most personal information.." sonic said with another tear running down his cheek.
Shadow gasped and his jaw opened wide. "Your ready to go that far..?" Shadow asked. I nodded. "first things first.. my father.. was.." sonic started and let a tear run down his cheek once again.. "robotisized" he finished. "he.. was.." Shadow said and thought back to when robotnik came to their neighborhood. Shadow was 3 years old. "My mom knows your dad.." Shadow started. "That's not all.. robotnik planned to capture my mom.. Queen aleena. My brother and sister ran off and hadn't been seen since.. instead of my father capturing her.." sonic then started to sob. "He killed her in front of my face.." sonic sobbed. Shadow had a surprised look on his face. "I'm sorry sonic.. I'll find a way to reverse it I promise.." he whispered to sonic. "Let's go eat lunch" Shadow said escorting a depressed and upset and sonic. Sonic sat with shadow and thought.. 'I love him.. I just know it.. I wonder if he loves me back..'
