I woke up the next day with a horrible pain in my lower region. The light from outside made its way into the bedroom, gently warming my body. I tried to move, but something was keeping me down. Looking to my side, It was Phoenix, sound asleep with his arm was draped over my waist. The look on his face was contempt, and spent. The images from last night came rolling in my mind. It was supposed to be a punishment, but it just ended up being hardcore sex. The best part, Phoenix told me he loved me, those three simple words came from him immortal lips.
"You're awake" He said in a soft mumble. I looked over to him and smiled. He smiled back, those beautiful white teeth along with his fangs showed.
"I see you're awake too" I said, proping myself upon my elbows. It really hurt to move. I felt like my pelvis had been shattered. Looking down I gasped. I was covered with semen and bruises.
Knock Knock
We both looked over to the door."Come in" Phoenix called out. Was the door actually unlocked? Without hesitation the door swung open.
"Phoenix, I came to tell you that...Oh?" It was Mr. Durlo with a blank expression on his face."I see you issued your punishment quite well" he said with a sly smirk. I felt very embarrased, especially since I was naked infront of him. Phoenix just chuckled.
I forced myself to sit up, even though it really hurt to sit, and pulled the blankets up, covering my lower region. Mr.Durlo entered the room, he didnt even seem bothered by us being naked."Phoenix, I came to tell you that-"
"Oh My God!!" came a voice from behind. It was a starstrucked Anya and by the look on her face, she defenitly liked what she saw. She came running towards the bed like the little freak that she was.
"NO,NO Anya don't!" It was too late, she had already sat right next to me, a cheesy grin stretched onto her lips. But her grin fell to a scowl as she looked down at her hand.

"Phoenix...you bruised him....Nice" said Santos with a grin.
"I swear if someone yells one more-OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!" yelled Leon. His silver eyes widened with my appearance. He quickly shot back out into the hallway, tumbleing over a table. I turned dark red and jumped back into the bed, hideing my face in Phoenix's chest.
"Awww, I want a hug" said Anya, trying to push me away.
"No! My vampire!" I yelled, holding onto Phoenix.
Mr. Durlo let out an annoyed sigh."Leon would you like to enter the room again?" he called out.
"NO! I think I would like to keep whatever sanity I have left in me" he replied. Everyone laughed.
"Very well then, of everyone is done with the interruptions, I would like to speak to Rico and Phoenix...ALONE" he enforced the last word. Anya pouted as she got off the bed and followed the others out the door, but before she shut it she mouthed to me to meet her in the library.
"What did you want to talk about Michealangelo?" Phoenix asked, wrapping one arm around my body as I leaned on his chest.
Mr. Durlo looked at us, scanning us with those pale green eyes of his. I think he must be gay too."I Just got some more information from the council. Apparently The Master is here in London, so that makes this Mr.V our prime suspect." he stated, taking out a magazine from his jacket."The pictures are everywhere" he said, opening up the magazine to a page. My eyes widened at the pic. If I were Phoenix, I would have been madly jealous too.
"Dont look at it!" I squeeled, covering Phoenix's eyes. He didn't say anything, instead he just laughed.
"Rico, i'm not mad about that anymore. I told you I loved you, and I do. I have something he wishes he had, and it's you" he said, brushing his lips against my cheek.
"Aww...how cute, but we have a situation on our hands" Mr.Durlo infromed. We both nodded."Continuing on, There has also been recent disapearances. The council and I believe The Master might be making an army"
"An army?" I questioned.
"Yes..an Army." he stated."An army of his children." That sent a chill down my spine. I met one of his children. Richie Sales."He wants to wipe out the face of humanity and make a new world, one where he can call himself god."
"I remember" I started."Back at the ally, Richie, he said something about the Master wanting to take over the world. He also mentioned about...the true meaning of life..but he wasnt really specific, he just wanted to kill me" I shuddered at the thought.
"Yes, The Master does want to create a world that fits his needs. The council and I are trying to stop him, buts it's very difficult."
"Why?" I asked. Phoenix looked at me with confusion as well.
"The council thinks, he has mastered the art of shapeshifting. He could be anyone at anytime" My heart almost stopped."But I assure you, he is NOT one of us. You see this Mansion is sitting on a barrier. I made it a few hundred years back, to keep evil forces away. If anyone were to step into this territory, I or any of the other vampires here would instantly know."
"So your saying if any of his children decide to enter the territory, you guys will react?" I questioned.
"Yes" he nodded."Unfortunately the only ones who know how to take down the barrier are me and Leon. I trust his magic alot more then Julia's." he stated."But Rico, I also have something to say to you. You're in big danger." I wasnt surprised."I mean, you're in real danger. The children want to kill you and If they see you out on the streets, they wont hesitate." I gulped.
"But why do they want to kill me? I never did anything!!" I exclaimed. I was upset. I can't believe I was hated, and for no reason.
"It's not your fault. Its just the natrual instinct of the children. Once the Master changes them, they get a glimps of his feelings, and he has found an obsession with you. We don't know how he knew you, but this obsession was even before we met you" Mr. Durlo infromed."They want nothing more then the Master to be pleased with them, and they find you as a threat. And an easy target to kill since your human, but still....that is the reason why I worry every time we go out in public."
"But, no one has tried to kill me since I got here!" I said, slaming my fist onto the sheets."I don't want to be locked up in here. I want to go out without worrying about being killed!"
"And you won't" Stated Phoenix."I will protect you, and I'll make sure no one comes near you" he added. I wrapped my arms around his neck, holding him close. I felt his hand travel up my spine, makeing me shiver with chills.
"Phoenix....dont bite something you cant chew" Mr.Durlo stated. I heard him say that once before, back at the club."You cant protect Rico forever, he's only human" he stated. That actually hurt, coming from Mr. Durlo. "This is what I tried to avoid, Rico is vulnerable, and he could die. I didn't want you to have your heart broken again" he hissed.
Phoenix looked down to me, his eyes were calm, like he was thinking. Then a smile came upon his features."Lets make him one of us" he stated. Was I hearing things? "I'll take care of him, i'll teach him the ways of the vampire, just like you taught me.."
Mr. Durlo furrowed his brow, he was pissed."Phoenix, it's against the rules to turn humans into vampires. You do know that, right?" He informed. "I wasn't the one who turned you, But yes I did help you and-"
"If memory serves me correctly, you were the one who turned Julia right Michealangelo?" Phoenix hissed. I remembered Anya mentioning something about that to me. "You did it to save her. You fell in love with her" he spat. Wow, this is a scandal.
Mr.Durlo's jaw clentched, his eyes narrowed at Phoenix."That...was all in the past. I dont have those feelings for her anymore." he said. Ouch, poor Julia. And I figured she liked him. She was always by his side."But you, Phoenix, you need to think about what you just said. I know you love Rico more then your existance, but we need to let Rico decide if he wants to join us or not." he stated, looking over to me.
I felt helpless in this situation. I never thought about being a vampire. I mean I read books about, people jumping at a chance for immortality, but...I want to be with Phoenix."I...I need some time to think about it" I said, looking down to my hands."But all I want to know is, why does the Master have such an obsession with me?" I asked.
"It's really complicated" Mr. Durlo sighed. "I..dont know if you can handle it."
"I can. Trust me." I stated, allthough I wondered if it was true.
"Well if you say so. The Master wants you heart." I froze. He wants my heart??" I know this is quite...odd, but there is something about your blood that allures vampires, especially him."
"Wait...my blood allures you?" I gasped, impulsively placing one hand upon my neck."I dont know how you guys can control yourselves then?!"
Mr.Durlo and Phoenix both laughed, I glared at them. I didn't find any this funny.
"Rico, we have ways of controling our urges for blood. I keep myself busy with work and buisness. Plus, I have centuries of experience. Rye and Julia control thier urges with thier guitars. I don't know why they do it, but it works. Santos controls his urges with...sex." Now I know why Anya loves him so much. "And Im not so sure about Leon, I've never really seen him lose control."
"What about you Phoenix? How do you control you urges?" I asked, looking over to him.
"I..dont know" he simply stated. Mr.Durlo arched a brow but left it at that.
"Your blood is what the Master wants. Your heart on the other hand, is a vital importance to him. You're a human with the pure heart. You have no hate inside of you" I placed my hand on my bare chest. I never could hate anyone, but I always thought it was because I was just a softy."With your heart, he could gain unimaginable power" he added.
I blinked a few times, unable to believe what I was hearing. I stood up once again, at the moment I didn't care If I was naked infront of him. "What happens if he doesn't have me? Will he destroy the world until he does?"
"If we don't stop him in time...then yes, he will. But i'm afraid he is closer then we thought. I don't want to put you in danger, but our concert is in two weeks. The band will be busy with press meetings and photoshoots." he looked over to Phoenix then to me."This week, i'll have one of us watch you. Starting today, Leon is going to watch you"
"What!" Phoenix boomed, jumping off the bed and holding me tightly. I winced with the sudden pain."I don't trust him! I never have trusted him!" he shouted.
"Phoenix, this is for the best. You do want him alive right? Then I suggest you leave him under Leon's watch, just for today. I need you and the others to come with me to a press meeting." he hissed."I expect all of you to be ready in three hours" he concluded.
"Phoenix..it's alright" I said, looking up to him. He looked at me, his eyes slightly widened."You need to go. It wouldn't be good for your image as a rockstar if you didn't show up" I informed. He smiled gently and placed his lips on mine.
"Fine...i'll do it for you. But if Leon touches you, or says anything that makes you feel uncomfortable you let me know" I smiled and nodded.
"I'm going to head back to my room and take a shower" I said, taking note of my bruised pelvis.
"Here...take this" Mr.Durlo said, handing over a robe. I gladly took it and put it on. It was so soft an fuzzy, i loved it.
Giving Phoenix one last kiss I walked out the door and closed behind me. I then jumped as I saw Julia, leaning against the door frame. She looked up at me, then looked away, marching down the hallway to her room. There was something about her eyes, that caught my attention. They were red and puffy, almost like....she was crying. Like someone broke her heart.
