Chapter 14

Marie's P.O.V.

"Are you serious??" Nathalie whispers loudly to me.

"Shh." I tell her.

We were sneaking our way in the man, Niall's room. Zayn was keeping watch for us. I didn't want to leave the hospital knowing I caused someone's life, that's when I realized we are witches. We could use our powers to heal him.

"Ok right." I whisper to her.

Niall was sleeping in bed.. I hope he is..

"Place your hand on his stomach." Nathalie instructs. She then places hers on mine. "Close your eyes." She shuts hers and I do so. "Clear your mind and focus."

"Focus." I repeat in my head

"Marie?" Nathalie says after a few seconds.

"Did it work?" I open my eyes and look at his stomach. It was bandaged up but you could tell he was healed because his ribs no longer looked deformed. I was shocked that it had worked because of how much of a newbie I am. It can take one person to heal but Nathalie wanted me to help her because it would teach me.

"I can't believe it worked." She lets out a breath.

"Uhh guys..." Zayn opens the door.

"You're supposed to be our lookout!" I whisper to Zayn.

"Well he's coming!" Zayn whispers back.

Oh shit.

I glance at the stranger one last time to make sure he is asleep before we leave the room.

...

"Thank you so much." I let out a huge breath of relief from today.

"It's fine. You owe me." Zayn jokes.

Nathalie had left her own way home. I was taking Zayn home since he didn't drive to school today.

"I'm already driving you home." I smile. He laughs but I was being serious.

The rest of the car ride was quiet. It wasn't awkward or anything. I was finally at the driveway of his apartment which was only a minute or two away from mine. His apartment building is 10x better looking than mine.

"How about a date?" He says once I park the car.

"A what?" I think I heard him wrong.

"A date. Friday night. A movie and dinner?" I bust out laughing accidentally. He was confused as hell and seemed a bit offended by it.

"I'm sorry." I try to calm myself down. A date with Zayn wouldn't be bad.. Just as long as it's not movies and dinner.. "I'll go." I say which shocks him. "Yeah but let's not go to the movies.." I say trying not to sound demanding.

"How about dinner at your place then?" He suggests. "Of course we'll both be cooking the dinner." He says. I smile at his generosity.

"Ok then." I blush.

"Great." He nods his head. "Well.. Bye..?"

"Bye Zayn." I smile.

...

"You can't be doing that Marie." Kate nags.

"I can't be doing what?" I groan. It was Wednesday afternoon. We were in her bedroom. I lay myself on her bed to rest before I head to work.

"You can't be going around sleeping with the guys.-"

"Woah. What?" I sit up straight. "Sleeping? With the guys?" Zayn was the only one I was closest to sleeping with. Nobody needs to know that. "I haven't slept with any of them. What made you think that?" I feel a bit offended and pinch of hurt.

Why would my friend think that? She was lucky I came today. I was supposed to come over later this weekend to learn how to control but after yesterday's event, I wanted to learn now.

"Harry told me that you guys planned on banging after the date." She tells me.

"He what?!" I jump off the bed.

Control yourself Marie. It's about control.

"Yeah.. He had everything planned out. After dinner you guys would head back to your apartment and he'd stay over the night..." She starts realizing that I had no clue about it.

"We didn't sleep with each other." I defend myself. "I didn't even know that he planned on sleeping with me.." I'm not some sex object that he can play with. I'm not Fay or Phoebe. I'm not an idiot like them. "I'd never sleep with Harry." I give an attitude. Do these people not understand I hate him. He's the first person I've truly hated. I've never hated someone so much.

"Please don't clench your fist.." Kate takes a few steps back. I slowly unclench them.

"Sorry.." I mutter.. The anger was still there but I was trying my best to tame it.

...

"I found out what she was.. She's a witch." I chuckle.

"Good. Maybe she could be my next step to Harry."

"Yeah. Seems like they have something going on."

"Even better. I'll be there later next week."

"Can't wait."

...

Hm.... Wonder that was...? Lol sorry for the late update! Well I sorta have a schedule now. I'm going to be updating mainly on Fridays & Saturdays. If I'm not busy on a school night then I'll update that day. I'll sometimes update Sunday evenings or nights.
