23rd July 2015, Ray Fox is released from prison after 13 years inside.
He returns home to find his wife Sandra at the dinner table with his daughter Rosie and his son Will. His daughter began to cry while his son stared at him in disgust he was ashamed to call him his father.
"Get out, this isn't your home anymore" yelled Will
Ray replied "Come on, in your dad-"
Interrupting, Will shouted "You gave up being my father when you shot an innocent man dead!"
"It weren't me, you know I ain't capable of that sort of stuff!"
"I don't even know who you are anymore"
Will had moved on with his life, he was married to his teenage sweetheart Linda and they had a daughter named Jess, she was 16 and had reached a rebellious stage in life. She went out every night smoking all sorts with her 'friends' from the local council estate.
Will felt betrayed by his father and felt abandoned. Ray knew his son was upset with him but he didn't ever think that he thought he was capable of murder.
Ray's daughter Rosie was 22 but still a daddy's girl. She missed her father everyday and was so excited to have him back.
Sandra stared blankly at Ray, they hadn't seen or spoken to each other in 7 months.
After a long night Will and Rosie went home and left Sandra and Ray to talk. Ray went upstairs to bed but was enraged to find out that Sandra had moved all his belongings to the spare room. He began to shout at her and gave as good as he got. He picked up a vase of flowers and threw them at her, she ducked and it narrowly missed her head.
He ran at her screaming "You selfish bitch, we're husband and wife and you do this, I love you!"
She replied "Love me? Love me?! You robbed a post office then got sent to prison! You don't give a damn about me or your children you self obsessed, ignorant bastard!"
He walked at her throwing his hands in the air outraged. He grabbed her by the arm and pushed to the wall. She slapped him and her ring cut his cheek. He began to go red and pushed her to the floor. He punched the wall and suddenly the ceiling started to crack, a large holdall bag fell along with a gun.
They both stared at each other, shocked by what happened.
