You were on the way to an elite ball for specific people who have worked in the press industry with top reviews on their articles. And you just bought the perfect dress.

You decided on a strapless, royal blue dress trimmed with lace and studded with diamonds. The length of the dress was just a little above your feet.

The fabric crinoline made the dress look enlarge, and it was layered with silk with another layer of white chiffon.

A shade of Honolulu Pink stained your lips, and you attached dark blue flowers to the left side of your hair.

And for the finishing touch, you wore the star shaped necklace you bought yourself when you got accepted to one of the biggest press industries in the world.

Finally, it was time to go.

The jet black limousine waited for you. The driver opened the door to the limousine, and motioned a friendly gesture for you to enter. As you walked towards the luxury car with your stilettos, the clicking sound made it all seem so unreal.

The limousine dropped you off just below the staircase, which lead to the castle like ballroom.

"It's all just like a dream!" you thought to yourself.

You nodded a thank you to the chauffeur and proceeded up the staircase.

When you were halfway up the staircase, you realized something was missing.

"My necklace!" You looked down the stairs and started saw your pendant just a couple of stairs behind you.

The ringing sound of the star ricocheting on each and every step felt nostalgic.

Your first intention was to run after the pendant, and that's exactly what you did. You were holding up the sides of your slightly too long dress and step by step ran after the star.

Then finally the star found its way to the bottom of the staircase. When you got to the bottom, your face was red, your feet were aching, you were even on the edge of hyperventilating.

"Does this belong to you?" A blonde haired boy approached you, holding his hand out.

You didn't know what it was about him... the black bow tie, the white cherry blossom tucked in the front pocket of the tux, the fact that one of his hands were in his pockets, or maybe even just the warm smile that made the whole world light up for just a few seconds. But you knew one thing, you fell in love for the first time.

"Y-yeah... t-thank you!" you reached for the hand that the boy was holding out. When your hand touched his, your fingers cringed darkening your countenance with a dark red.

"Do you need help putting it back on the chain?" the blonde asked.

"I-I umm..." you could barely speak.

Then suddenly the blonde leaned in closer to you.

"W-Wha-"

"The ring is missing." The blonde got a hold of your chain and grabbed a small silver ring out of his pocket.

As he was attaching the star back onto the necklace, his hair was directly below your chin and his hands were just above your chest. Just the thought of it caused a bright red to dust your visage.

When he finished, you felt guilty for not paying him back for the pure silver ring now attached to the star shaped pendant.

"U-um! I should pay you back..."

"There is no need to do that."

"I insist!"

The blonde had already started ascending up the staircase while putting a hand up in the air as if he was saying:

"It's all on me."

It was during that transition between Fall and Winter, but to you, it was Spring.

"Why is my heart beating so fast?"
