Nathan's P.O.V.

November 17th-the twins were born
January 23rd - Lucy was born
July 16th- Bethany was born

"Nathan, where's the remote?"Cora asked me as she walked into my office

"I don't know, Cora."I told her as I went back to work

Work was hard and having a family was harder. I'm 34 and I have 4 kids. The twins, Kaleb and Kendall, Lucy, and Bethany. I only have one son and three daughters. I know if me and Cora tired to have another kid, it would be a girl. I wouldn't traded them for the world. Well, if they get on my nerves then yes.

"Nathan, take a break" Cora told me as she rubbed my shoulders

"I can't Cora. I need to get this done before 6:30"I told her as I continue to work

I looked at the time and saw it was 5:00. I only had an hour and thirty minutes left. Cora sigh and left the room. I hate that I do this to her, but she needs to understand that I can't take a break. Everything needs to be turned in on time and if I don't then I get in trouble and I don't like being in trouble by my boss.

Cora's P.O.V.

He always think of work and not about us, me or the kids. I know work is important, but family is more important then work.

"Mommy!" Yells echoed through the hallways

My little monsters are coming. Kaleb and Kendall came running in first. They're 6 about to be 7. They have my blue/green eyes, but their fathers hair, they didn't have the same facial because Kaleb is a boy and Kendall is a girl and yes, we had them on our wedding anniversary and I didn't mind because I give birth to two beautiful babies .Let me tell you something, my babies are growing up to fast. Lucy is 5 years old, she's our little sweetheart. She has her father's brown eyes and blonde hair from him. Last but not least, Bethany,she has gray eyes, that came from my mother, I guess her eye color skipped a generation and she has my brown hair. She's 1 about to be 2, we didn't plan to have another child, but it just happened. I didn't care if we had a unplanned child, she's still our baby.

"What is it, my babies?"I asked as I hugged all 4 of them

"Can we go to the park?"Kendall asked,smiling at me

"Yes we can " I told her

They all jumped around and giggled

"Now, let's get all of you changed " I told them

When I got them all changed,it was 5:45. I was thinking about telling Nathan,but he wouldn't come because of work. Is work really important then family?I will never know. I was at the car with the kids,helping them get in and putting their seat belts on. I made sure the front door was locked,walked towards the drivers seat,got in,turn the engine on and drove off towards the park.

Nathan's P.O.V

I was finally done with work. I looked at the clock and saw it was 6:28pm. I got done 2 minutes early. I wonder what Cora and the kids are doing? Wait,why is it so quiet? I got up from my seat,walked out of my room and looked around the house for Cora and kids. I started to panic. Cora or the kids weren't home. Where did they go? Did they get kidnapped? Did they leave me? I can't be thinking that. I need to call Cora. I got my phone out of my pocket and called Cora. I waited for her to pick up,but she didn't,so I continue to call her. After the tenth call,I was about to give up

"Hello " She said

I let out a sigh of relief. She finally answered

"Cora,where are you?"I asked,worried

"Don't you have work to finish?"She said

"I'm already done,Cora. Now tell me, where are you and the kids?"I said

"No where " She told me

"Please Cora " I begged

"If you really want to know then you should of came with us " She hanged up

Goddammit! I screwed up big time! So, I sat in living room and waited for them.

Cora's P.O.V

"Mommy,what's wrong " Kaleb asked

"It's nothing,sweetie." I told him,smiling

"Okay,mommy " He said as he ran off towards the playground

I looked over to my right side,to make sure Bethany was still there. Lucy was with Kaleb and Kendall playing. I smiled at them and I could see that Kaleb is making sure no boys comes close to his sisters. I wonder how he'll feel if he gets a new sister. Not saying that I'm pregnant,I'm just wondering. My phone continue to vibrate. I took my phone out and saw I have 12 missed calls,I guess he finally found out that family matters the most. I looked at the time and saw it was 6:48pm. It's time to go home.

"Kaleb! Kendall! Lucy!It's time to go home!" I yelled

They came running towards me,I made sure Bethany was in her stroller and we walked off towards the car. When I finally got them in the car,I got in and drove off to the house. When we finally got home,it was 7:14pm and all the lights were off in the house. Is Nathan home? I got the kids out of the car,we walked towards the front door,I unlocked the door and let the kids in. They ran to the living room as I locked the door then they screamed. I ran towards the living room and saw Nathan had his arms around the kids.

"Why did the kids scream?"I asked,curious

"Daddy scared us" Kaleb said

"How did you scare them,Nathan?'I asked

"I was waiting for y'all in the living room " He told me

"So,you sat in that couch while waiting for us " I said

"That is correct " He told me

"Did you learn your lesson?" I asked

"What do you mean?"He asked

He knew what I meant,so why is he acting like this. Oh,I know why because he doesn't want to sound stupid or weak.

"Okay then you won't mind if I leave with the kids to go to Disney World without you?"I said,crossing my arms

He pulled away from the kids,crawled over to me,wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his head on my stomach

"I did learn my lesson. My family is more important then work,but we need the money to pay the house,bills,clothes,gr-"I cut him off

"I know that,Nathan,but you need to spend time with the kids " I told him

"I will and I'll spend time with you too " He told me,winking

He's back to his regular self. Nathan moved away from me and played with the kids. He was a monster,that loved to eat kids, he would always tickle their stomach,give them kisses all over their face or act like he's eating them and I always join in. God,I love my family.
