Under The Never Ending Sky

Chapter 4 Day After

      I wake up to see Zac's perfect blue grey eyes just looking at me. He ran his fingers through my hair and smiled at me.

      "Good morning Abbey." Zac whispered to me clearly to let me wake up. I smiled and looked at him and said, "Morning Zac." I got up and went into the bathroom to shower and freshen up, because it was a new day which meant a new adventure. I came out of the bathroom to see Samantha there. How I can't stand her.  I wonder how she knew we were here. She knows this road trip was meant for me and Zac to hang out for the last time since he's going off to college in New York. Then my heart stopped everything that happened last night flashed right before my eyes I wonder if she already knew, by the looks of it she didn't have a clue.

      "Abbey good morning... I didn't know you guys were sleeping in the same room?" Sam said sounding as fake as ever. "Yeah we did, She slept on the bed I slept on the pull out couch." Zac snapped back quickly. She gave me a look of disgust, I didn't want to be there anymore not with her around anyways.

      "I'm going to get everything together and toss it in the car, where did you put your things Zac?" I asked Zac. "I have some things in the closet I'll take it you don't worry leave it all to me, I'm going to shower though before we go." Zac said he got up and went into the bathroom. Which again left me with the wicked witch herself Samantha. I stayed quiet and continued packing my things.

      "You know I know you don't like me, but if you're trying to make Zac break up with me it's just making you look stupid." She told me. I glanced over at her and didn't say a thing. "You're so pathetic Abbey you know that, I can't even think of why Roger would have a crush on you, but it's okay i'll take him away just like I take everything from you including Zac." She laughed. Roger likes me I thought to myself? No she's probably just trying to make me look desperate or something, she's messing with my mind so that I wouldn't take Zac from her. "You know what Sam i'm not pathetic you are, and I know that I am a threat to you." I told her with a smirk. She gasped in disbelief and I walked out.

      I was waiting in the car for Zac. We were going to head to Hollywood today. He knew one of the things on my bucket list was to visit all those famous sight seeing places in hollywood. Him and Samantha walked ot of the room she gave him a kiss goodbye and took off in her car. He dropped off te key in the office and came back into the car.

      "I'm sorry she came by surprise." Zac told me. "No worries let's go, because I want to have enough time to look at everything." I responded back still with anger. I was kind of mad at him to be honest. Why didn't he tell Samantha what happened? Why not say the truth? Was he scared? I popped in my ear phones and blasted my music to let off some steam.
