"Wake up." Kailee had said hitting me with a pillow, " W A K E U P " she continued hitting me between every pause. I groaned in protest and turned towards her. "What?" I questioned. Kailee's eyes lit up "TIME TO BUY PETS YOU PROMISED." I looked at the time to see it was already 10 in the morning, "huh seems like I did okay we'll let me get ready then. Go get the money you've saved up." I said smiling towards kailee's direction. She jumped off my bed and all I could hear was the little pitter patter of her feet running down the hallway. "She's only a year younger but it seems like she's in elementary." I thought smiling to myself. I check my phone for any messages or notification on social media, "Gerard's usual good mornings... Kailee's tweet is getting like in ridiculous amounts. And one text from, ugh Kevin 'dinner today 5pm we'll watch a movie after. Remember you owe me this' " I read the message and wanted to stay home all day but got up anyway and picked out clothes and lipstick.

"Kailee do you have any clue on what dog your picking?" I asked while turning on the radio to an alternative station. "We'll duh y/n!" She said playfully rolling her blue eyes "I WANT A LITTLE PUG." She said with a short giggle which made me smile to myself, "What about you y/n, are you getting anything?" Kailee said looking a bit puzzled. "Well...." I looked at kailee and thought for a bit "your pug is going to need a friend." I said with a smile kailee laughed and nodded. It only took about 15 to get to the local puppy shelter, as kailee and I walked in we both smiled to see a little girl walking out with a happy looking dog. "Hello how can I help to two ladies today." And older woman said "I called a month ago about adopting two puppies." I said smiling, "oh yes hello honey it's rare we get calls now a days come on back we have all of the dogs playing right now so you came at the perfect time." The woman said smiling. Kailee's squeaked and her face lit up. We walked into a room and they woman was assisted by two men a little younger than her when they brought in some puppies. "Excuse me but do you mind if we take pictures with the dogs and maybe promote the shelter." I said smiling and the lady was ecstatic "darling I'd be thrilled thank you so much." She said smiling I thanked her.
I laid down and kailee followed in-suit and I grabbed my selfie stick and snapped some great pictures all those little angels were so photogenic. Kailee was playing with pugs when a little pug in a box had finally gained his composure and ran onto kailee's lap. "Y/N LOOK LOOK TAKE A PICTURE IVE FOUND THE ONE." She whisper yelled putting emphasis on the word "one". I snapped pictures of her holding him and him giving her little puppy kisses. I was still playing with the dogs while kailee was learning the dogs rescue story when a little black baby Pomeranian walked to me slowly due to a little limp, when I saw his little blue eyes I knew he was perfect I got up and ran to him and picked him up he licked my face lightly. "Oh our little trooper," the woman said pausing "he came from Beaumont his mom died from dehydration along with the two other babies we saved him in time his limp was from a break. It should heal properly if we've done the math properly." "Poor little guy he reminds me of a a lost little angel... ILL TAKE HIM." I said smiling and looking at the precious puppy we filled out all the papers and made our way out.
"So kailee..." I said with a pouty face, she giggled and responded "yes that's my name." "What did you name the little guy then?" I said smiling even though I had no clue what she had in mind. "His name is Tybalt, you know I have a huge thing for Romeo and Juliet." She said smiling. "Why but of course," I said pausing to snap the seat belt for the two fairly small kennels in the back seat "how could I have forgotten?" "You doof." She said smiling while she closed the backseat door. We both got in the car. "So kailee my co-worker is taking me out to eat and watch a movie. I'll drop you off at the house if you want." I said looking at my phone "3 o'clock." I thought to myself "15 minutes to home...... 20 to Kevin's. Perfect!" "Oh sure I wanted to finish American horror story anyway, I forgot you're date." She said with a smirk in her voice "it's not a date," I stated the first part sternly "it's a favor I owe him for taking one of my shifts when I felt sick." I said looking at the road ahead of my car. "Okay what ever you say." She said giggling, I rolled my eyes and drove her home.
