pitch black.
nothing but darkness.
and the echoing sound of
"No! Dont! Please!"
red as a siren
the blood tears flow beside
drowning me in their current.

a roaring of thunder awakened me. i havent have a slight thought of what that was about. it slipped off my mind the moment my brother knocked on my door and said "HEY! JAMIE! GET READY IN 2!"

i shouted back "TWO MINUTES?!"
"TWO HOURS! NOW COME ON. BREAKFAST IS READY SOON!"

i still havent known what that dream was about. although what i've been dreaming had been repeating numerous amounts of times always leading up to a river of red, its just the same ending. me always waking up.

i stepped on the bathtub floor and hurried for my family is finally moving back to my original home.

you see, my family is not exactly MY family. im an orphan. im highly grateful that they adopted me and treated me as their own flesh and blood. we stayed in france for two years for my family is filled with business and more business. although i like staying in europe considering the great tourist spots and cool weather, i missed home. especially my friends.

my friends mean the world for me. luckily i was able to keep in touch w/ them, considering we were 8,269 km away from each other. i even had the same school work like them bc since my family has a great amount of power they used it to plead the school i attended. my school used an online teacher student work system so that got me caught up on what they've been learning back in Seattle. since then i've submitted all my assignments and projects in all online and i've passed for two years. now im in junior year about to go back home.

i finished bathing and got changed ready for breakfast. as i was going down the stairs i heard my mom and dad whispering. i decided to eavesdrop and all i heard was "no. not yet. its way too early for her to know." from my mom and "alright. but. she has to know soon honey", from my father. i thought it was nothing so i sat down in my regular seat at the dining table.

as usual, no discussion was among the five of us and once we were finished, we were heading to the airport.

our plane tickets were for first class so we boarded first. i gazed upon the gloomy sky when we lifted up the ground. the falling raindrops on the window let the butterflies in my stomach grow as i said in my mind, "im coming home."
