Chapter 8

Coles POV

I tightened my arms around his small body and smiled.

'I have a son and he loves me...I wasn't there but he still loves me...'

Alexander pulled away and smiled again.

"I'm glad your my daddy. You also my favorite ninja! Oh! Are you staying for the party?! I hope you are!"

His eyes started to sparkle and I bc chukled at his enthusiasm. I usually didnt like this much hyperness but with him its diffrent.

"Of course ill stay for the party wouldn't want to miss your birthday. Or cake"

My dad started laughing and as he saw mine and Alexanders face light up at the mention it.

"Can we have cake now???????????"

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Not right now. But we can go to the monastery and play with the other ninja."

His smile grew.

"CAN I BEAT THEM UP?!"

I couldn't help but smile.

"They won't like it but sure"

He did a happy dance and ran to what assume to be his room here and get things ready. I chuckled again as I watched him run off.

"I guess ill ask nya to help me...I don't know what to do as a dad..."

I looked down sad and my father rested his hand on my shoulder.

"Well there's one thing that you could give that boy even though you domt want to. You could give him a normal family."

I looked at him shocked.

"Nya still hasn't chosen between me and Jay yet. Ill ask her if sje picks me okay don't pressure me."

He gave me a sympathetic look and went toward the place my son disappeared. I shook my head and Alexander came in just as I opened my eyes.

"I'm ready to go dad!"

He looked like he was gonna burst with joy. I smiled taking his backpack from him. I picked him up then went out the door jumping into the air and summoning my dragon. The entire ride his face was pure excitement. I commanded my dragon to leave as we dropped down to the monesery's front yard. He seemed to be in a permenent state of awe and shock. I took him to the training room and he instantly jymped out of my arms and started the training course. I just started laughing at the guys. They were staring at alexander as if he was a ninja prodigy. He finished the course like he just finished practice.

"I do gymnastics with mom a lot. She's really good and teachs me stuff. Oh and I can't believe I beat the ninja!"

"I think your gonna need a nap before the party"

I smiled and so did he. He ran over and tackled me to the floor.

"Got you dad!"

I heard all the ninja gasp and scream what but I wasn't paying attention to them.

"I see that why don't you go to the kitchen and get some cake ill be there in a minute"

His eyes lit up and he ran again. I got up and looked around at everyone.

"Man that kids got more energy then lloyd when he eats to much candy"

Everyone started laughing and lloyd started pouting.

"Wait cole you havee a son?"

I nodded

"Yes jay I have a son. And I just found out they were keeping him a secret till his mom could tell me and well she did today."

Everyone looked at me sadly then kai and zane ran out the room. I soon realized why. Alexander was crying. I ran into the kitchen and found him hanging onto Nya reaching for something she was holding over her head.

"No this isn't yours and lyings not gonna get you out of trouble little mister. Wait till I tell your parents"

"But I'm not lying mam! My daddy said I could have some of that cake!"

Alexander was now balling his eyes out and I. Was. Furious. Everyone slowly backed away from me and I walked up to nya calmly. She saw me and smiled and handed me the cake. I then handed it to alexander. She frowned.

"Cole that boy was trying to steal your cake."

I shook my head and alexander drydd his eyes.

"Thanks for getting the cake away from the mean lady daddy..."

I smiled at him and looked at nya my gaze scarcely calm.

"You have a son?!"

I nodded.

"Yes and don't steal his cake again. I don't like to see him hurt."

I picked him up and took him to my room and were we shared cake and took a nap.
