The day went by fast. I was relieved. No one actually confronted me about how bad i looked today. The last bell rang and i found my way into the parking lot. Molly was there. She had a huge smile on her face when she saw me. She wasn't at school today, so i was wondering what she was doing here. She ran up and gave me a hug. I almost fell over by her force. Molly finally backed away and looked like she was hyperventilating or something. She seemed very giddy. I placed my hands on her shoulders. "Molly! Calm down, now what is it?" She started to scram a little. I covered her mouth so no one could hear. But we had already gotten some confused stares. I pulled Molly over to the side so we could talk. Or have her just scream again. I took a deep breath, "Ok, Molly. You know you can tell me anything. Now what is it?" Molly took a long breath.
"Don't freak out, ok?" Molly said as if she were calm the whole time and had never yelled at all. Why would i freak out?
"Molly, just tell me what it is. I promise i won't freak out." I sighed. Nothing could get me excited right now. Hmm, maybe if she had some coffee in her back pocket........ Gah, just listen to what she has to say.
"Well..." She paused for a moment. Ugh! What was she going to say. Then Molly screamed, "I got Justin Bieber Tickets!!!" I covered my ears she was so loud. Great now everyone was staring at us. I sighed.
I wasn't that crazy about Justin Bieber. I mean, yeah he's famous, and he's hot. Wait, did i just say hot? Yes i think i did. Ugh! I never really listened to his music that much. I only know what Molly has told me about him. But i always tuned her out. I wasn't trying to be rude, i just didn't like hearing Justin Bieber this, Justin Bieber that. Ugh! He was everywhere. On TV on the radio, on magazines. I mean, how famous could this guy really be? Molly interrupted my thoughts.
"Sarah! Aren't you excited?!?" She screamed. But also looked a little disappointed. I put my hand through my hair. I gave her a Do-You-Really-Want-Me-To-Answer-That look. "But Sarah, i have two tickets and i wanted you to come." She gave me a puppy dog face. I shrugged.
"Molly, you know i don't really like him, and..." Molly cut me off.
"Sarah please! You are the only one i would want to go with, and no one else." She explained.
"Then don't go" I teased. I turned around, and started on my way to my car. Then Molly pulled me back. Ugh! "What?" I said. She looked up at me.
"Sarah, that is not what i meant. Please go with me."
I rolled my eyes. "Ok, but first things first, when is it?"
Molly made herself look innocent. She rocked her body back and fourth. "Tonight"
I just about choked. Tonight!?! Well thanks for the notice! "What!?!" I managed to spit out.
"It's tonight Sarah, please come, you said you would!" She demanded. I sighed and crossed my arms. "Sarah?"
"Alright, alright. Just come to my house and i will drive you."
Molly jumped up screaming like a little kid. She jumped on top of me into a hug. I shook her off and laughed.
