I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, I sat up and thought about what I had planned for today. Then I remembered that I agreed that mine and Evans first date would be going to an hockey rink. To be honest I had the slightest bit if information on hockey, or ice-skating for that matter.
I got dressed in a (F/C) sweater and some blue jeans. evan told me they have outfits to change into their so I didn't have to worry about dressing warm. I looked at the time 12:30, I still have time. about another hour or so. I decided to play a little bit of Call of Duty before I left. About half way through a round I got a text "From Evan: I am on my way to get you now you better be ready I am not waiting an hour like last time we did something." he was referring to the time we met up with Tyler, Craig, Lui, Marcel, and Daithi for lunch.
I heard a knock at the door I rushed to answer it. "Hey (Y/N) your actually ready this time I see." "That was only one time." I stated "Whatever let's just get going." he said has we headed out the door. when we got to his car evan opened the door for me, but before I could get in he closed it on me "Your a fuckboy Evan, you know that." he smiled and said "Ya but I'm the eat fuckboy around." ya well he's the only fuckboy around so I can't argue with that.
After about a 29 minuet car ride full of dumb jokes and puns we finally arrived. Evan opened my door and said "Well are you ready?" "Yep I'm ready to fall on my ass." I replied and we headed inside. After we paid the man at the stand we walked over to the place with the outfits and each got one. I headed into the lady's room to change. I had extreme difficulty getting that dumb suit on.
I walked out to see Evan with a smile on his face. I knew it would make him happy if we did this together. We walked onto the ice where the speakers were blasting music that I didn't know nor did I want to know.
I stumbled at first but then I got the hang of it. "See (Y/N) your a natural at this." Evan said skating over to me. He handed me a hockey stick "What am I supposed to do with this shove it up your ass?" I asked Evan he just smiled and skated away "So is that a yes!" I yelled at him so he could hear me over the loud music.
After a few minuets of me chasing Evan around, man with a microphone and said "okay guys here's how we are going to do this we have a pretty even mix tonight so girls on one team boys on the other." I skated over to the side with the girls on it and they told me what to do. One of the girls came over to me ad said "your new here aren't you? Well I'm Ashely, and just know that the boys won't take it easy on you just because your a girl. The boys and girls just want to win." I nodded has she went to her spot.
I saw a guy drop the puck and everyone go after it. I felt like a noob I didn't know why to do an I couldn't keep up with the other players. It was just like my first time played Call of Duty, I sucked ass but now I'm pretty good at it.
The game eventually ended and I touched the puck once, but that was only when I got confused and Evan hit me with the puck. "Well (Y/N) that was fun. For me anyways, if you didn't want to do this you could've just said so." "Ya but I wanted to try it." and that was true I was curious why Evan loved it so much. I still don't see why, it was like he was built for hockey.
We got I his car and talked about the day. it was already almost 10. Time flys when your face down on ice. We arrived at my house and Evan walked me up to my door. I unlocked it an stepped inside I turned to face Evan and gave him a peck on the lips. "I had fun tonight (Y/N). Evan said "I did to, but next time let me pick what we do." I said smiling "Okay whatever you say my little hockey player." and with that he walked off. and I walked inside and fell asleep thinking about where we will go next.
