Chapter 5 Getting a crush?

On the way to my cottage Jake and Dustin decided to annoy the shit out of everyone by moving in uncomfortable positions and singing loudly to the radio. But since they are tone def they were terrible.

"We're here!" I said in a thankful tone."

"Yeeeesssss!" Jake shouted.

"Okay so there is four rooms. Andrea can take one room. Ethan can take another. Me and Lily can be together in a room. So that leaves Jake and Dustin in the same room."

"Ummm no way Dusting snores!" Jake said nonchalantly. I could see him staring at me with a smirk on his face. Jake continued "How about this, me and Chloe take a room. Nathan and Andrea take another room. Then that leaves Lilly and Dustin together."

"How about no." He smirked as my face turned red from anger.

"Yep so everyone go unpack!"

We all unpacked but everyone loved Jakes sleeping arrangement so I was stuck with him. I started to unpack, then I noticed Jake standing in front of me. I watched him retch into my bag and pulled something out. I didn't know what he was doing at first. Then I saw it, I saw him pull a black ligere. I felt my cheeks starting to heat up so I think that I must have looked like a strawberry or something.

"Umm I don't know how tha...... Wait you were in the back set with my suitcase so you must have planted it there! Ugh it's not like I'm gonna change what I think of you just because you pulled that thing out of my belongings!" I was still shocked that he pulled it out though.

He through the ligere back in my bag and stomped out. After I finished packing I went outside to the back yard. In my yard there is a beautiful river at the end with a dock and some boats. There's a garden and a deck that is right outside the door with Patio furniture on it. I looked over and started to were everyone was sitting.

"Hey anyone want to go for a boat ride? I asked

Sure enough jake answered. "That'll be fun." I guess that he and I were the only ones that thought this because everyone else said "no."

We both got into the boat and Jake offered to drive. I said yes cause I'd rather not put our life's in jeperdy. (I'm horrible at driving anything)

As he started the engine I looked at him. I traced his body up and down with my eyes. He has such a tanned muscular body. He is hot but it's not like I have a Cush on him, I think?

" like something you see? Wait I have a suggestion take a picture it'll last longer." He said with a smirk from ear to ear.

"No! Let's just shut up and drive why don't you."

The whole boat ride was quiet except for some small talk back an fourth.

When we got back it was already 10:00pm so we headed for bed. Everyone else was in bed before we came back.

Since me an jake had to share a room, not to mention a bed it was sort of awkward. Any ways I got my PJ's and headed for the bathroom. I finished throwing them on then freshening up. I brushed my hair, washed my face and brushed my teeth.

When I came back Jake was already sitting on the bed. He was wearing pajama bottoms and no shirt.

"Took you long enough."

"Ya well I had to do some stuff before I went to sleep." I said whilst hoping into the bed.

Jake turned off the lights and in that moment my eyes started to get heavier. As the wonderful dream land started pulling me in I heard someone say softly

"goodnight my sweet Chloe. Then they gave me a peck on my cheek.

Just saying I know that my chapters are really small but oh well. And by the way if you like this book than I hope you'll like my new book that I'm writing called " He loves a dead girl?"
