Sam’s POV

I watched as Niall, Misty, and Harry talked. I felt arms snake around my waist. It was my girlfriend, Jane.

“You’re worried.” She said sinking her chin onto my shoulder.

“I just don’t want her to get hurt.” I grabbed her hands and held them.

“Baby, getting hurting is part of learning. She needs to be allowed to open up and fall in love.”

“You’re right. As always.” I grinned as she laughed and kissed my cheek. I looked back at Misty. She had the biggest, brightest smile on her face. It was really good to see that smile again. I missed it. She looked over at me and waved innocently. As she turned to talk to Niall, Harry walked over to Jane and I.

“Sam, I asked her out for lunch.” He said. Almost questioningly. Like he was checking that it was okay with me.

“Harry, thats great! I hope it goes well. Do you want Jane and I to give Niall a ride home?”

“If you could that would be great.”

“Works for me.”

Harry smiled and turned to look at Misty. She had gone to sit on a rock. She crossed her legs and closed her eyes. I could tell she was happy.

“Niall, come on. We are driving you home!” I yelled.

“Alright!” He waved to Misty who opened her eyes when I yelled. She waved back. Niall caught up to Jane and I, and we left. Leaving Harry and Misty at the beach.

Misty’s POV

My heart was racing as we drove to my house so I could grab a change of clothes. When we got there I raced into the house. Picked up jeans and a cute shirt. This is nerve wracking.
