PART FOUR

"Shafiq, please, whatever mad thoughts are running through your head, STOP them! Right now!" I said panicking.

"Dude," Shafiq said in a chilled tone, making me even more nervous, "Relax, I have a really great idea."

"Oh no you don't," I breath a sigh of relief knowing Junaid will back me up, "the last time you had a "great idea" we almost ended up in jail!"

"Agh man, it was one time! How was I supposed to know the security guards were awake?" He asks sheepishly.

"Because they're Night Guards!" Junaid and I both scream.

"Ok, granted I didn't think that one comepletely through, but this idea's different, trust me."

Junaid and raise and eyebrow. He gives us one of his puppy dog faces and we digress.

"It's like this," he says, "Uzzy's got a gift, something that all Hafiz's around the world would kill to have. Maybe he was given the gift for a reason. maybe he's meant to do something great with it and we're wasting time arguing on the corer of the road while his gift could be diminishing every second!!!"he screams the last part.

"Stop shouting!" I yell back, "what are you suggesting?"

"I'm suggesting," he says calming down, "that we need to figure out how to put this amazing gift of yours to good use and also find out if there's any other 'powers' that you possess."

"Like a superhero right? Except instead of fake powers, you have one of the best possible powers in the universe, instead of superman, you're  Hifz-Man!" Junaid says

"Ne, bra," Shafiq says rubbing his chin, "more like Hafeez or Hifzu..."

"HIFZULLAH!" They both scream out loud, I have to block my ears. Sometimes they act  like children.

"Spreading the beauty of the Quraan everywhere!" Junaid says standing like a valedictorian.

"Empowering all those Huffaaz and people around the world who need upliftment!" Shafiq says in a deep voice.

"Hifzullah!" Junaid.

"Allah(SWT) gift to mankind". Shafiq.

I face palm, that's a pretty huge title, one I don't even feel I'm deserving of, but I agree with Shafiq, I can't let this wonderful gift go to waste. If I wake up tomorrow and it's not here anymore, I'll with the regret of not using it to help someone for the rest of my life.

"Ok," I say, laughing at their wacky "superhero" poses and gimmicks, "what do you suggest I do?"

"Well," Shafiq says turning to look back at the Madressa, "I suggest we tell Molana, maybe he can help us consider the next step."

The 3 of us turn back up the street and walk to the Madressa where one of the biggest decisions of our life would be made.
