It was a cold winters night
It was plain nothing exciting happening
That was until the seventh strike hit on the clock

I entered that library
I witnessed a truly extraordinary sight
You were sitting there in your prime

Before I knew it I wanted to talk to you
I stared you straight in the eyes
But what I saw was not joyful

Your heart was filled with black
You were hurting
But nobody knew

You tried so hard to be strong
But really wanted someone to understand you
I could relate to that

My heart was an icicle
I didn't care for anyone
But then I met you

Seeing you made me want to purge that darkness
Make you cheerful
Make you forgiving

But before I knew it a cherry blossom fluttered before my face
That one petal made me realize
I wanted to spend all my time with you

My spring had come
You transformed my world
You were my color
