Kali has lived in California for her whole life and she is now 16. Her mother named her Kali because she loves California and has ever since she moved her when she was 3 years old. Kali's father is a police officer and is a protective dad and has told Kali she isn't allowed to have a boyfriend until she is at least 18
Sam lives right next door to Kali and has had weird feelings about her for a long time. He can't really get her out of his head. His bedroom window is straight across from kali's and one day their eyes met. From that point on Sam knew he had to talk to her.
Kali's POV:
We looked at each other and I knew he had something to say but I quickly turned around and walked out of my room after grabbing my penny board. He's really cute but there is no way he would like me...not someone as famous as Sam
Sam's POV:
She turned away like she wasn't interested. She grabbed a penny board and I fell more in love.
I still needed to give it a shot.
So I ran outside and saw he skating around staying close to her house.
I went up to talk to her... I'm so nervous.
Kali's POV:
Omg he's coming over to me. Maybe he does like me... Surely not he's to popular for me.
He started to get closer and started to ride his penny board along with me.
Sam: hey what's up?
Kali: not much just riding around.
Sam: mind if I join you
Kali: sure go ahead.
Kali's POV
We got to know each other all afternoon. We were in the middle of exchanging our numbers when my dad came home.
Kali's dad: Kali what are you doing? You know your not allowed to have a boyfriend
Kali: I'm not I promise. We are only friends
Kali's dad: give me your phone!! And go inside the house right now!!!
