Glynda sighed as she leaned against the bar table. Despite her age, she had become quite the regular and no one seemed to pay her much mind. This was probably due to the fact that it wasn't a very popular bar, and she paid good money."Alright kid? You know I don't like serving anyone who's that down, not without a good reason." The bartender- an older man with dark skin, no hair in a grey t-shirt and jeans- asked smiling somewhat sadly at her. "So you going to talk or not?"
"Alright, fine. Look Gin it's just Mum and Dad again. Why do they want me to be exactly like them?" Glynda sighed picking herself up, leaning against her left arm. " I mean I'm not like them, I like travelling, and seeing the world. I don't want to just play the piano and look delicate. I'm stronger than that. I know how to fight!"
"You sure do." Gin chuckled handing her a drink. "You still owe me for the table. I know you fixed it, but it wobbles. Can't have that."
"Sorry Gin, I'm not staying long. So that's good, I suppose." Glynda chuckled downing the drink handing over a delicately decorated silver flask. "You mind?"
"Look, I wish you would get some help, but no I don't really mind. I guess that kind of makes me worse for letting you do this." Gin shook his head lightly, quickly filling the flask with rum before handing it back. "So where are you headed, if you don't mind me asking."
"The forest, latter!" With that Glynda took off, running out of the bar and down the road. Lightly laughing she quickly made her way into the trees, her dark purple cape tearing as she climbed. it wasn't long before she was in the canopy, her weight dress torn in several places scrapes covering others where she got caught by branches.
"Oh, your back too? You shouldn't be here, Mum is already mad about Oz, if she see's you, she will..." Oobleck started flying up to Glynda only to be cut off by a scream of pain. "Ozpin, he must have snuck out! Glynda, I know you don't really know the kid, but we have to help him."
"Alright, but only because it could be fun and dangerous." Glynda nodded quickly hopping to the ground, fumbling a bit as she landed.
"Oh dear, how bad is it today?" Oobleck sighed as the rushed towards the sound of the scream. "Or is it that you don't stop drinking?"
"A little of both really. I mean, they are just so... Holly shit." Glynda hissed, eyes widening at the scene. "Get, the hell away from him you filthy Grim."
The two Ursa's quickly turned to her, snarling as the one dropped the young Ozpin. His black pants were pretty much destroyed, and his emerald jacket had long since fallen to the ground. This was the only thing protecting him...
"You don't remember a thing, do you?" Oobleck sighed shaking his head."I still don't know how either of you could drink like that. I mean constantly, at least not to the same extent. I do kind of understand your addiction to it."
"I do kind of remember. I remember the fight like it was yesterday." Glynda sighed sliding beside Night. "If it were being seen through a window covered in a thin layer of mud. Just clear enough to make out the figures, not the details."
"Alright, so what do you remember?" Weisse asked with a small sigh as Ruby wrapped an arm around her as well. "Seeing as you really did drink quite a bit to have memory holes that big."
"The feeling, I remember what it felt like to be really drunk. It was like being in the middle of the ocean, but on land at the same time. It helped me forget, and I was dedicated to forgetting no matter how long it took or how much alcohol." Glynda sighed lightly. "I remember feeling really bad whenever a teacher or one of our friends would tell me off. The fear and pity in their voices, their actions. I still feel guilty, and yet so tempted. It's not easy feeling like this, sometimes I wonder if I should give in."
"No, don't. You were a mess, first of all, you fell on your face when you landed. The two Ursas nearly killed us and your attacks were somewhat messy." Ozpin sighed lightly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You had a habit of falling on your face."
"Right, thanks I suppose. Just take over Oobleck, I don't want to talk about it anymore." Glynda sighed dropping her head.
"How about I tell you about the time I crushed a dude's junk in a bar for information," Yang called, leaning over the seats.
"or about the time I destroyed a train to escape the white fang after attempting to rob it and destroying most of its defences and letting Adam have half of it," Bake added with a shrug.
"I fought a giant robot suit the size of a building to be able to join this school, just because that was the only way my dad would let me." Weisse sighed lightly shaking her head. "It was kind of horrible really."
"I took on an entire pack of bayowolves who were trying to kill me. Must have been like twenty or thirty of them." Ruby smiled causing several things to happen. Night nearly fainted, Ozpin choaked on the coffee he had just made himself, Glynda choaked on air and Yang did faint.
"Holly shit, Ruby. I had trained to take on the Knight my entire life. I mean you do train a lot but, holy shit." Weisse gasped lightly leaning back in her seat.
"Perhaps we should continue before anyone else blacks out." Pyrah chuckled weakly, shaking Yang awake.
"I'll take over, hopefully, I can turn this around. Probably not, my family was harsh. They suported the White Fang." Oobleck admited with a small sigh.
