I walked along the street. This place was so strange. It was so hot. Hotter than Arizona. Seriously.

The houses were too close together. I guess the only good thing was that there was a forest in front of the house. At least I could get out when I needed to.

I reached the end of the street. My mother had told me not to go onto the highway. I sighed and turned back around. There were houses on my right and a forest on my left. Why can't we go back home? We had an amazing house with so much land. Now we live in a house with barely any land..

My sister, Scarlett, greeted me when I got in the door. "Hey sis, how was your walk?" She may be young but she acts like an adult. Its scary how smart she is sometimes.

"It was good I guess. I really miss our old home." She nodded and walked down the hall. I'm guessing she was going outside.

I walked toward my parents room and knocked on the door. "Come in."

My father was sitting at his desk and filling out forms. "Pack work?" I asked. "No, school forms." He didn't look up. "Oh.." I was so not happy about this. I've always been home schooled in my pack. Now I have to make new friends..

"Don't worry it'll be fine. You know how to fight." My father stood up and walked out of the room. I followed.

"What school?"

"A highschool. Does it matter?"

"Not really I guess.. when does it start?"

"Tomorrow."

I stopped following him. "I don't have any supplies. I don't even have a bag!"

"Then go shopping." he turned to look at me. "You have money." I sighed. "But I don't have a car. Or a licence!" My father rolled his eyes. "You're a wolf remember." he walked off towards the kitchen.

I decided to go shopping with my best friend, Devin. He's a rouge because our Alpha kicked him out because he was gay. No one knows I still hang out with him.

My father thinks that Zoey took me shopping. She's the Alpha's daughter.

"So where to?" Devin stopped at a gas station.

"Hot Topic?"

"Sure."

We drove to the mall and upstairs. Devin stiffens beside me. "What's wrong?"

"They're here."
