I walked into the hospital tiredly, "sweetie who are you here for?" A different nurse with blonde hair spoken.
"My brother uhm his name is-" "brandon?" I slowly nodded, how'd she already know his name?
"He's getting surgery right now but you can speak to one of the doctors soon sweetie." She said in a very soft and sweet tone.
I walked to the room brandon was in. "is he going to be okay?" I asked one of the nurses there.
"Sweetie you can't be in here." She said leading me out the door. "Is he?" I asked. At this point my voice was shaky and my heart felt like it was going to explode. "Take a breath okay, uhm you see your brother had a pretty tuff hit. He hit his head pretty hard but not enough to loose any memory, and he'll be needing to wear a cast on his neck."
"Ohh okay thank goodness noth-" "but the only thing that will be keeping him from living is his heart,which during the wreck his heart swinged too violently into the back of his breastbone,nearly tearing the aorta." My heart dropped and all of a sudden my whole world felt like it was going down. "It's a fifty fifty chance." She sighed.
The tears I had been holding back all wanted to burst out, i was speechless and ran off down the hall wiping my tears away, eventually finding myself all the way outside the hospital finding a seat on the curb.
"hey hey hey it's going to be okay." I heard a soft familiar voice say pulling me into a hug. "Ethan? wah-what are you-never mind." All I wanted to do was cry and be held in ethans arms. who knew if my brother was going to live? and the worst part is my parents don't even know he is here...
"I'm here for you." Ethan said kissing my head. "I'm here." He said pulling me into his arms. Millions of feelings were going through my body. "Hey look at me.." "Look at me." Ethan said with a higher softer voice.
I met eyes with him, "I bet I look like a mess." I said slightly laughing wiping my tears away being stopped by ethan. "No..never, you look beautiful as ever." He smiled wiping my tears away. I felt like I was falling into his eyes, our bodies coming closer to each other by the second. His breath hitting my neck..."I love you Kolby." He whispered closely to my ear. Those simple words, hitting me like a truck, he loves me...loves me. "I..love you to Ethan."
"Now let's get up and get inside." He smiled taking my hand. Walking back inside we both took a seat in the waiting room for brandon.
I heard the elevator ding.
"uhummm excuse me mr do you know this girl?" My eyes went wide.
