Dangerous Love (a carl grimes love story)

I was walking down the school hallway as usual. I saw my best friend Megan. I walked towards her. "hey Megan" I said happy. "hi Sarah" she said. I looked at her as if something was wrong with her. "you seem sad" she shook her head. "I'm fine." I looked away and stepped back. "are you sure?" I asked. she looked at me. "no. I'm not fine! I'm so sad!" I looked shocked. "why?" she looked at me again and squinted her eyes. "what?" I asked. Her eyes got bigger and she pointed. I looked to see what she was pointing at. I screamed. "what is that?!" I yelled. "I'm not sure! let's just get outta here!" we ran out and ran to my house. it was about a block away. "MOM!" I yelled. She came running outside and hugged both of us.

"are you guys okay?!" she asked worried. we nodded and walked inside. "pack. we need to leave." she said. "where is dad?" I asked. "he's...at work" she lied. I looked away and finished packing. I gave Megan some clothes too. I looked to see where my mom went. "mom?" I walked downstairs. "mom!" she wouldn't answer. She was sitting on the couch. "mom... are you okay?" I asked. "i-i tried to stop it... but I couldn't." she looked at me and revealed her...bite? I screamed. "Shh!" I looked at her. "what?" "they'll find you! just run Sarah. run far. you and Megan need to be safe. I love you. please. find your father. he's not at work. he left. just, I love all of you. stay alive and if anything happens, just know that I love you." she said as she slowly died. I started to cry. "mom! no!" Megan walked downstairs and started to cry as well. "oh my gosh!" she said. I looked at her and she pointed to a herd of... walkers. "the back door!" I said.

she nodded and walked to it. we walked out with all the stuff. we looked outside. there, we found a car. on. with people inside it. we walked towards it slowly. "hello?" I said. a boy my age came up behind me. "who are you?!" he said. "my names Sarah... and this is Megan." I said and pointed to Megan. she smiled weakly and stopped. I looked at the boy. "my names Carl." man. he was cute. I smiled. he smiled back and we kept staring at each other. "w-we have to go." he said still staring at me. I nodded and broke the stare. we walked towards the car. I saw these people. one looked familiar. "Maggie?" I said. she looked at me shocked and stood up, "Sarah?" I nodded and hugged her. she's my aunt. "I can't believe your here!" she said. I smiled and said "I've missed you!" we sat down in the car and drove off.
