Ellie's POV

"Ellie, get up sweetie." My mom shook me as I groaned and stumbled out of bed. I took my clothes out of my closet and walked into my bathroom. I decided I should look cute, since it's the first day of tenth grade. Everybody thinks I'm naturally beautiful with my wavy blonde hair and greyish eyes ,but just like every other girl, I feel as though I need make-up and straight hair.

As soon as I finished my hair, I put on my clothes which consisted of dark skinny jeans, a lime green tank top, and a dark blue cardigan. I ran down the steps to see my brothers fighting over who's stronger. I rolled my eyes and continued to the kitchen. "Bye Mom! Love you!"

"I love you too! Have a good day!" I walked out of my house and stood at the bus stop for what seemed like forever, when finally some boy that looked my age strolled over.

"Hey, I'm Logan." He smiled, showing bright white teeth that almost blinded me.

"I'm Eleanor, most people call me Ellie." I smiled back, hoping that nothing was wrong with my appearance. We waited for the bus for about ten more minutes and we talked about random things. He actually seemed pretty nice and boyfriend material except one tiny issue, he has a girlfriend. We ended up sitting next to eachother on the bus and he kept looking at me with those gorgeous blue eyes, I immediatley realized I like this kid and I don't even know his last name. As the bus pulled up to the school Logan and I got up and walked into the school.

"What's your first class?" Logan asked as he glanced at his schedule.

"Umm, I have math with Mrs. Herk, how about you?"

"Me too! Cool, wouldn't it be great if we had a few classes together?"

"Yeah, totally." I couldn't help but wonder if he was flirting with me. I didn't want to start any trouble with his girlfriend. We walked down a few halls and finally reached Class 307.

The room was so colorful, posters were aligned on the wall with cheesy sayings like 'math is as sweet as pi." I noticed that the teacher was quite old, looking like she was close to retirement. As soon as she noticed us she croaked out, "Take a seat wherever you would like."

Logan looked at me and pointed to the back row, I just nodded. I was starting to feel uncomfortable ,because he has a girlfriend. "What's wrong? As soon as I told you about my girlfriend your personality changed."

"You've only known me like an hour, so don't judge me." I rolled my eyes and turned to the front.

"I'm sorry. My girlfriend lives in California and I was going to break up with her later tonight . We never get to see each other anyway." Without even looking over at him, I could tell he was smirking. It's crazy how easy it is to get to know someone. He already feels like my best friend, it hasn't been this easy to talk to someone in so long. "Anyways, I have my eyes on someone else." I looked over at him and he winked.

I couldn't help but laugh and say, "Who would that be?"

"You, didn't I make it obvious enough?" As soon as he finished his sentence the bell for the beginning of first period and I looked up to see each desk taken by someone.

The day went on and we found out we have third and sixth period together as well. Every second we spent together made me happier. By sixth period i was as happy as a person could get. When we went to seventh period I felt lonely without him. When the bell rang for us to leave school, i went to my locker and he came strolling up as well.

"Hey i thoight we could walk to the bus together." He smiled and i frowned.

"Well you thought wrong." I said as i rolled my eyes and slammed my locker door. I walked off to the bus and sat in a seat. He sat across from me and looked out the window the whole time. He knew what he had to do to talk to me again, break up with his girlfriend. I dont like cheaters and that is what hes acting like.
