Thank you all who read this story! I enjoyed writing this so much! I got the inspiration for this after being forced to compose music for my end of year band project. While I originally named it Calm Psychotics along with my story, I changed the name of both. My song became One Dimensional and the story became Purple Psychos.
While I understand the main character was a horrible person, I hoped you were able to connect wit her as well as I did. I felt myself understanding her more than any character I've written, even in the story I'm featured in. Even if you don't relate with her, I'm convinced that someone reading this has a person like this in their lives.
My mother is reading a book on psychopaths. It says that 4% of people are psychopaths, and can feel no conscience whatsoever. They don't feel remorse, or guilt. They fake it. But thats not how I saw Alessandra. She was real to me in a way, and I hope that even if you didn't connect to her in this short story, you'll warm up to her in the next story.
